Curfew is between 9/10 pm. They don’t do nothing but give nasty meals. Sit in the office on the phones or sleeping. Women floor and men floor all night men floor banging and making loud noises. No food or drinks beyond kitchen even if you are a women who a natural cycle. Very weird and unnatural how they run this place. They had 8/9 women sharing one bathroom for going on 3 weeks because they don’t want to tell the lady who doesn’t speak English she needs to stop flooding the bathroom. Two bathrooms people stay in for at least 45 mins. They want you to clean when you don’t even be there for it to get dirty. Some rooms are single bed other bunk beds. They treat you live you coming from jail and not only in need of shelter. No passes you probably WONT talk to whoever is in charge but if you need things you have to go through her and she never available. They want you out by 9am even if you have no money to...
Read moreThe staff is extremely courteous. I give the staff 5 stars because they are helpful. The rules are laid out at intake. They provide with what is available to them. Also, they help motivate the residents to get their details in the building done.
It is okay, if you at the shelter to handle your own business and be out. It is what shelters are for. The 2 star rating is because of the smell. Be aware for your personal belongings. They might grow legs and leave before you do. Your clothes should be fine in the drawers but everything else, I recommend you carry a book bag.
