Went here recently. Pizza was OK; service was shoddy. Placed an order ahead of time and they said 25 minutes...50 minutes later, I was walking out the door. If I would have known it would take that long, I certainly wouldn't have gone there, but wouldn't hold it against them. But because they either lied, or just plain forgot to put something in the oven for me on time (what I think happened) and weren't up front with me, I won't be going back. As I waited, I saw an overwhelmed staff of youngsters barely keeping it together as the calls poured in. I also saw a delivery guy walk in the restaurant and start prepping food without washing his hands first, which is a real turn off and a glaring food safety violation. Won't be going back to Chanti...
Read moreNo description equals expensive pizza! So we were staying in a hotel down the road and ordered 2 pizzas. The spaghetti meatball (which was good), the second was the frickle pickle pizza. Now I wish the actual description included all ingredients (could not find "Frickle Pickle Topping" anywhere on the site). Pizzas show up and the Frickle topping is about a pound of olives on a 10" pizza. Some of the blame is on us for not asking but, seriously! How does Frickle Pickle equate to a pound of olives and a few pickles? They did refund the one pizza which we tossed but ended up paying $33 for a single 10" pizza because would have to wait for another pizza. Their delivery charges are crazy expensive. Like a previous post said. Stick...
Read moreThe staff were great, polite, responsive and kind; and the place is clean. The reason for the lower score is because the price is very high--especially compared to Sammy's right nextdoor. The toppings on the pizza were good quality, but the crust is flimsy, soggy, flavorless and overall unfit to be served with these quality toppings. Probably not going back anytime soon, since there are other better options close by that are cheaper and have better crust--which is an essential component to any good pizza. If they totally redo the crust and lower the price slightly, I'd reconsider going back. A good pizza crust should either be crispy and slightly charred or have a good chew to it--this one...
