Happy Nails — Local services in Elkton

I don’t ever do anything for myself, we’ll this year we decided to go to the beach for my birthday and I wanted to get my nails done for the trip. I called and asked if they take walk ins and went ahead and made a same day appointment. I get there and I’m seated right away, no issues. I sit down and everything seemed fine until I couldn’t hear the lady ask me what shape I wanted. I have a hard time hearing anything when there’s more than one noise going on in a room. She kept yanking my hands around and slapping my fingers out of the way. no matter how I held them, she told me to be careful when she was the one rushing. I’ve never been made to feel the way I felt today. She made me feel like I ruined her day by wanting my nails done a basic way. Which was medium length neural pink coffin nails. I wasn’t there for more than 30 minutes. When she told me she was done I was shocked as I haven’t been told to wash my hands or anything. I left the salon with nail dust all over my hands and pieces of filled nail hanging off and tears in my eyes. I wanted a pedicure as well but decided after the experience I got with my manicure I didn’t want to be there any longer. I will never go back to this nail salon. Hopefully others have a better...

Their skill is great. But one of my nails is crooked (seems to be an issue no matter where I go) and they aren't "round" like I asked. They looked round when they were cut, but once they were painted and filed... The roundness went away. Also their website prices are wrong. It cost $15 just for gel polish for my 6 and 10 yr old (not $12 as advertised)...and the "pink and white" nails cost $55. I will go back to them, they were very nice and know what they are doing, but I will just speak up next time if something doesn't seem right.

Edit: I went back about a year later. The same older gentleman did my nails that I had last time. They are cut too short, didn't have the color I wanted (I wanted a clear neutral color, not light pink), they are cut crooked, the dip applied is uneven, they were out of silver gems (no I'm not going to use red, blue, or some other obnoxious color). I get my nails done once a year so I expect to be happy when I have them. They look...

Open on Sundays!! 🤗 Atmosphere was good and the place was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I called and they took me right away. However, my nails did not hold up at all. I got the gel dip French with tips and they all cracked over the next 5 days. I contacted Happy Nails after the first 2 broke on Day 3 and was advised I must have hit something to break them but they would fix them. After every single nail broke I figured what is the point. I also got my toes done (French regular polish) and they chipped after a couple of days. Usually my toes last until I remove the polish. I heard this salon offers a cocktail, not when I was there. I did ask if they had water and was given a perfect, icy, cold bottle. I have only been once so maybe I went...
