update I decided to give it another go last night and do pick up instead, since their food was good. I changed it from 1 star to 4. The man working must've remembered my name. He was very apologetic and said sometimes they get so busy. So maybe during certain hours, it's best to pick up or order ahead. I liked that last night, I got a text pushing my pick up time back 10 min due to being busy. Communication goes so far. I got a pizza for my kids. It was good. I got tacos again... chicken and al pastor. So good! I got beef nachos for us to share and a fish taco platter for my other half. The only thing I wish was different was knowing ahead of time that the fish tacos were made with a lot more stuff than the regular tacos. He wouldn't really eat them because of the stuff that came on them is stuff he didn't like. But in the menu it doesn't specify. They looked delicious to someone like me, who eats Jalapenos and tomatoes. I'm happy that I gave them another chance. It is nice having a place to get good food. After living in the city with corner stores and authentic little places.... I hated ordering around here. If you guys put beef patties and papas rellenas on your menu, you'd make a killing.
I ordered tonight from here, and while the tacos are good, I would not recommend in using their delivery. My total was over $50 not including the tip I paid ahead on my debit card. My food was supposed to be there by 7:49 and I had to call at 8:30 to see where my food was after I called the first time at 8:09 because my kids were so hungry. Then when my food came, things I had paid for were missing, like a 20oz Pepsi, extra french dressing, and red taco sauce. The man on the phone was not very friendly at all. He acted as if I was lying about the Pepsi or something. I waited an hour and 50 minutes for my food and live only 2-3 minutes away. The food was good, but the service was not. 30 minutes later, they brought me a sierra mist but I called because I didn't get my Pespi. At this point it is not wven worth the...
Read moreParking was easy, plenty of nearby street parking. I actually walked into this place to try the pizza...and the rest was history. It's the size of a normal pizza shop around 8 booths, and a few tables. It wasn't busy when I came in. I was getting carry out to take home to the family. Service was good, everything I ordered was with me when I left, and it was prepared in a reasonable amount of time.
They have fountain sodas & other drink options. I didn't get a drink since I was taking this home.
I ordered the grilled chicken torta, with lettuce, tomato, jalapeno, chipotle mayo, and fried beans. The sandwich was quite sloppy, but in a good way. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, and everything went very well together. I'm not usually a fan of anything chipotle, this was the exception.
I ordered tacos, choosing carnitas, cabeza, pastor, and chorizo. Carnitas...good flavor, on the dry side of town though. Even with the salsa, they dry crept through. Cabeza...buttery, melt in your mouth flavor and texture that you expect from the head. seasoned flawlessly. Pastor...good char, with pineapple, but a vinegar flavor stood out a little too much for my taste. This would have been much better on a torta or burrito. Chorizo...good char, seasoned well, excellent taco that'd I'd def order again. Tortillas were solid and above average.
The salsas were both decent with a little...
Read moreI went to order subs for the entire family. My family consists of 7 people, 3 adults and 4 kids. I ordered 5 subs:
1 Lrg Chicken Cheesesteak 1 Md Cheesesteak 1 Md Ham Sub add fries for $1.00 No onion 1 Md Turkey Sub add fries for $1.00 No onion No tomato 1 Md Italian Sub add fries for $1.00 No onion Substitute extra capicola for the salami (I don’t like salami)
My kids subs did not come with cheese, we were not asked if we wanted cheese. We assumed that because EVERY OTHER sub shop in the area automatically puts cheese on the subs that they would come with cheese. When I called after we got everything home, they told me I could come pick up new ones. The turkey sub was missing the fries (also for my children). The Italian also had onion and did not have extra capicola instead of salami. All subs came with cold flavorless fries (where we actually got them).
The only option I was given after paying $50 for subs was to leave the comfort of my own home and inconveniently pick up new subs that would most likely be just as wrong. I was never offered for the subs to be delivered even though the shop menu clearly says “we deliver”. They were also aware of the fact that I had four children at home already eating their food.
This was our first and only trip here. And after the service we received we will NEVER...
