The food quality has went down, while the prices have increased.
I got a cheese steak wit and the only taste it had was just a slight taste of onion. I've never in my life had a cheese steak have no taste at all, or wiz where the taste was just gone. There was just a faint taste of onion, and probably because there was only a tiny bit of onion on it. The wiz was extremely light and looked like it lightly spread into the roll. There was no provolone either.
Also my gf ordered the same thing she always does, and they gave her something not even close to what she ordered. She came back to the car and noticed it and went back in informing them that it wasn't what she ordered (took them 3 minutes to even acknowledge she came back in because they were busy talking).
Now instead of making it right they said they were going to charge her to fix it, and that she could take the sandwich apart and make what she ordered from it. What we received already cost more than the original item that was ordered. There's no way we're paying to fix your mistake. We also paid for something to eat, not a diy kit in the form of a sandwich that was twice the price as what was ordered.
Customer service here is hands down the worst I've seen in Elkton, and that's saying a lot. We came here twice a week for a while now, and can assure you we will never be back.
Never treat loyal customers the...
Read moreI really appreciate reading all the positive 5 star reviews, even when people didn't have a wonderful experience they still had nice encouraging things to say and that is what this world needs more of. I base my decisions a lot on Google reviews, they have help my own business immensely. It's when people like Kra Zie write a long window review smashing the place for a tasteless cheese steak and his gf got a wrong sandwich. Really, these are the kind of people that I can pick out in a restaurant that are going to say something to the waiter or waitress and try to get a free meal. Do you know the kind of people that I am talking about? I know for sure they don't have their own business and they are still living in their parents house at 29. Several complaints about the cost of the food, I don't know if you are living under a rock but everything has gotten more expensive in the last three years, I know that your boy Biden has you convinced that he's fixed everything but snap out of it. Eggs are $7.00 a dozen gas is over $3.50 in PA. You probably don't remember what you were paying 3 years ago. Sorry for getting political. But I will be trying this place, it sounds excellent. I love cheese steaks. Thanks for reading and sharing and sorry if I stepped on your...
Read moreIf you're on the hunt for a fantastic Italian sub, look no further than Sonny's Italian Market. Nestled in a cozy corner of Elkton, this charming spot may be small, but it packs a big punch when it comes to flavor.
From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel right at home. His warm hospitality was a delightful touch, especially when he generously offered us free samples of his homemade sauces while we waited. Each sauce was bursting with fresh ingredients..
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the chopped Italian sub. It was a glorious medley of flavors that are chopped and tossed together for a perfect bite each time. The spicy Italian hoagie was also impressive, offering a satisfying kick that fans of bold flavors will love.
Seating is limited to outdoor tables, which adds a nice, relaxed vibe to the experience. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious sub while soaking in the fresh air.
Overall, Sonny's Italian Market is a destination stop. Highly recommend trying the chopped Italian and spicy Italian hoagies--you...
