C3ntral Tavern Elkton MD — Restaurant in Elkton

Perhaps I'm being overly harsh, but everything about this place was middling at best. The dusty decor was probably once nice, but needed a refresh and a good cleaning. There appeared to be only one server working the floor during happy hour period on a Thursday, which to her credit, didn't slow things down terribly. There is a kids menu, but it isn't written down (??), but this is a "family atmosphere." My biggest issue with this place was the greasy, frozen food. I was annoyed that after tip I spent almost $60 on frozen fish filets, frozen fries, and deli meat. I don't think anything we ordered was actually made in house, and when so many other small businesses in the area are putting in the time and care to make quality products in house, this was a real disappointment. Not everything has to be fried in so much grease, guys! It was pretty gross. :-/...

Great place to unwind and have a few drinks and meal. The location is right on elkton main street. Plenty of parking is available both on street and in the main farmers market parking lot. The vibe is very chill and relax. The staff are super nice and the over all vibe of the place feels relaxed. There's lots of TV's around the bar. There's also serval tables to sit at with family. Children are welcome and they have a separate menu for them. The drinks are great and taste sweet but with a kick. The sandwiches are great and the bread is toasted and buttery. UGH! This is one of those places were you want to leave a good review, but you also want to make sure there is a seat a the bar for you, and if you tell people how great the place is, there might be a wait...Decisions, Decisions! Like which of their lovely beers your should get or whether to go with your usual of MJ's Chicken Salad Sandwich or blow your diet on the French Dip. The only thing you don't have to decide is if these are the best French fries in the world...cause they are!
