Walgreens — Local services in Elmwood Park

Me and my family have been using this pharmacy for years since I can remember and one by one competent pharmacists and techs have left. They fill prescriptions that don’t need refill without automatic refill on. They argue with doctors and tell the doctors what is what and change the prescriptions themselves. Mistakes have been made until the pharmacy manager rectifies it and states to the doctor’s office that it was a mistake. This is what you do to a medication knowing it can be very dangerous! ATTITUDES flourish like weeds in a lawn. Rude abrupt answering of phones and any questions. I think the more you question the more spiteful they become.. they hold back filling scripts that doctors say it’s ok too until they feel like it is bc they count incorrectly and input wrong information. When questioned the response is that it is the pharmacist’s discretion to fill the script! So now they make people’s health decisions etc. It’s ALWAYS a problem. Nothing is rectified and if you complain you become a target so to speak. They play god with people medications and I e spoken to others that experience the same problems. This is our family ‘s experiences. One of my family members was denied medication for 5 days because of an error of counting and entering into the computer. Why isn’t anything being looked into by corporate? Don’t they read reviews of the Walgreens they have under their watch? Is it a lawsuit waiting to happen? If you have a competent team working it flows smoothly and may need a few all together but when you have incompetence you can have ten and they can’t get their act together. It’s unfortunate that those competent pick up the slack which is...

I am sure if I stop going there it wont make a difference No After shave -so many things they are out of , sad .The list goes on*Name Of That store should be out of Stock

Again, Nothing in stock , my reviews are doing nothing , I need to write a review maybe upper management can look ay it , Walgreens is closer but I had to go to CVS last week to buy after shave and other products, nice people in that walgreens , yet I guess they cannot get anything done , I went to get office paper and they don't have it either , I will go to CVS now Thank You Walgreens Out of all the Wallgreen stores I get stuck with the one that has no manager , I even tried talking to the manager and he laughed at me

Just a reminder -I told a manager about the After shave and he looked at me and started laughing.

This is what the world is today , I'm so sorry that the world has become like this , After that it's hard for me to return to that store .no one cares...

Currently having an allergic reaction to the very strong fragrance they seem to be pumping through the whole store. I had to come home and shower as well as soak my clothes to attempt to get the smell of fake cinnamon and who knows what else out of my clothes. 3 layers of clothes are saturated in this horrible fragrance now. Walgreens better hope none of their customers go into anaphylaxis from spraying whatever they’re spraying throughout the stores. I will no longer be purchasing anything from Walgreens again after this experience and will tell others to avoid it as well, as I know many other people who get severe reactions to...
