Terrible experience at this store. After spending more than 10 minutes walking around men's clothing section looking for an employee (was not even busy in the store at the time) I finally found 2 men. One was wearing typical Kohl's employee attire and the other, who I assume must've been some kind of manager, was wearing a sport jacket. I politely asked them if they had anyone working on the sales floor that could help me. After staring at me for a moment with a puzzled look, the one in the sports jacket answered in a agitated tone of voice that yes there are people working the floor. He exchanged an amused glance at the employee next to him and there was another awkward silence. Finally he offered to answer my question. All I needed was a simple white button up men's dress shirt. A very simple item that any store that carried professional attire should have on hand. He told me that no, they do not carry them. He said I could order it online. I had a couple pairs of pants that cost $65 each that I was willing to pay for to support local business, but after the way those men handled the situation I changed my mind and put the items down and exited the store. Store's wonder why they are shutting down to online stores like Amazon, well this is why. Rude employees and lacking basic items. I will not be returning to...
Read moreOh dear people....I'm concerned for Kohl's. Please do not start a rumor. This is not an announcement that Kohls is leaving Battle Creek. Kohls is the only place that I could go were shopping was easy and relaxed. I went to an area designated to have Levis and levis were there. In order from small to large, 2 to 18. Same for other products. Things were put back on the floor quickly instead of spending days laying in dressing room on the "don't want it" rack, which has now spread to the floor. Currently there is one check out, there is self service at the front register. On-line pick up is self pick up IN THE VERY BACK OF THE STORE. I consider that pretty cruel . You order on line. Wait for notification your order is at the store. If you have the option to have your order brought out to you/your car you may want to do this so about $1,00. Along with that pick up in the very back corner of the store you have to get the code first from the store that gives you permission to pick up your order. Heaven help you if you don't have a phone. For $1.00 (especially this winter) I'll be using...
Read moreI went here last night with my cousin. We were treated awful. Our cashier was a blond with glasses, can’t remember her name. But we bought only one pair of black dress pants. Well when my cousin slid her card to pay it didn’t work twice. It just popped up saying enter you card number. The cashier wants paying attention at all, just standing there looking around the room. Then the computer crashed and she tried to blame it on my cousin who didn’t do anything wrong. Then she looked at the customers behind us and said “well sorry they crashed out system”. Then she said “well I’ll have to get you guys on this register over here now”. Then she laughed at my cousin and said in a snotty tone “this time just swipe the card so our systems don’t crash, don’t do anything else”. She had extremely poor customer service. I have never witnessed worse customer service. She either needs to be fired or needs to go through training again. Makes me never want to...
