I’m going to be honest. I fought back and forth about making this review. I so desperately wanted to leave this company a positive review and if the review were for the food alone, it would be five stars. Their food is damn good and satisfied everyone at my wedding - I had people coming up to me for weeks after asking who had catered. But the service was absolutely below standards. We were first introduced to Katie - who is fantastic and insanely kind - but we fell through the cracks it felt like. After the initial tasting it was like they no longer needed to impress us. I had to be the one to reach out regarding payment deadlines as outline in the CONTRACT. I literally had to beg this company to take my money. I know wedding season is busy, but it’s also not my job as a bride to make sure you as a company charge my card for YOUR payments. Day of was absolutely horrendous. I was told that the company would be there at 4:00pm sharp (exactly 2 hours before the start time of my wedding) the crew finally comes rolling in at 4:30p and says that they are also catering across the street and that’s why they’re late? All of my centerpieces had to be arranged on the tables which my family and I weren’t allowed to touch - it had to be the catering company. Finally at 5:15 all of the tables were set up leaving my fiancé, aunt, and mom SCRAMBLING to finish decorating. Then I walk to the tables after the ceremony and see that NONE of the chalice cups that I spent nearly $300 on were set up on the table. When I approached the company they said “oh. We were confused because they also had four random white sheets in it we thought it was for a different event” IM THE ONLY EVENT GOING ON!! And then at the end of the night we were sent home with zero leftovers. Even though we had nearly 20 people LESS than what we told them because of a death in the family. I know for a fact that there was food leftover but we were sent home with none of it. Keep in mind I paid for everything! Overall, I was left much more stressed and frustrated than a bride needs to be. And Katie if you read this, I’m sorry it’s not about you....

Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better catering experience than what Encore provided. Their exceptional service, combined with Katie's outstanding coordination, truly made our wedding day unforgettable. Encore catered my wedding, and I am so glad we chose them! From our tasting to our wedding day, we felt like everyone at Encore was genuinely invested in making sure our day went according to our vision. Kim and Alissa were fun to work with and their enthusiasm for their jobs was really infectious. You can tell they love what they do, which is something that stood out to me from day one!

We crafted a vegetarian menu with Encore’s assistance, and no one missed the meat! They really listened to what we wanted, and they gave good suggestions to bring our concept to life.

Not only did Encore provide wonderful food, but they went above and beyond helping with alcohol, decorations, setup, and cleanup. Encore even put together a dinner for my new husband and I to take back to our hotel, since we didn’t get to eat much at our reception.

I really appreciated the care and attention Kim and Alissa put into each part of our experience with Encore. I didn’t even have to think about details: once Kim and Alissa were on the job, I trusted they had everything under control.
