I would give this car dealership a 0 stars if I could. I recently had purchased a Volkswagen E-Golf 2016 from Royal Automotives and they claim to be an honest and reliable place to do business. Thats so far from the truth. 1 min into owning this car I started to run into problems. From those of you who don’t know the Volkswagen E-Golf 2016 is a fully electric car. I was told the car had been performed a 150 point inspection. Which is their way of saying the car is good to go and good to be sold to it’s customers. Now when going over the details about the car I asked the Sales representative Chuck what the miles per charge we’re on this car, and he told me “125 miles per charge on average for this type of car”. I was also told that the car had been inspected to insure the car is good to be sold. Now we fast forward to the deal closing. The dealership had been charging the E-Golf all day. I sign the contract, gave my deposit, and grab the keys. Now I am at my car and turn it on and the battery meter is at 31miles. I was in shock because the car had been charging all day. I go to the manager and he claims it was just a short current in the outlet it was plugged into and that the car was fine. WRONG! I can go more into the story but just to give you an idea of my experience I can tell you I was counting on the momentum of going down hill to keep my car going before the battery ran out. The battery was faulty and only gave me at most 35 miles per charge. I live in Franktown, CO about 30 miles south east of Denver. I barely had enough juice to get into the city with sometimes 1 miles left to find a charging station before the battery died on me, to then be forced to sit there while it slowly charge. It took me 5 1/2 hours to drive 33miles. Now you ask why I would put myself thru that and the answer is I called, but they took to long to respond. They had known since the beginning and never truly cared about my situation. At the end of it all they offered to give me my money back which I accepted, but not once did the owner come out to apologize for his product putting me thru a very stressful and dangerous situation. When I asked to speak to him he denied my request. Part of the deal was a refund and an Uber ride back. When I asked for my Uber to be called he aggressively responded. “If your gonna leave me a bad review you can get your own dam Uber!” People like him don’t deserve the business of the public. If your thinking of doing business with them, please don’t. Save yourself the trouble and find a place with better customer service and a moral compass. I was very calm and civil thru the whole process. I know y’all who are reading this don’t know me, but I am a nice guy just trying to live his life. Read moreI’m writing this review because I now feel very passionate about this dealership. I’ve purchased one vehicle from them. I needed another vehicle for business reasons. I went and test drove a vehicle that I felt was perfect. Just as the last time, Ahsan and the entire department treated me with respect and everything they did was truly professional. After getting the approval, I was very happy. I left, and then the very next day I had received some bad information about the work that I was in, that the vehicle would not qualify. This was truly devastating news for me, because I was so intently looking forward in expanding and doing something good for myself as a small business owner. The feelings I went through, and the gut wrenching was so horrible, I honestly felt like the world came crashing down around me. I couldn’t sleep or eat. I went back the day after, and met up with Ahsan that next morning. I explained to him the situation. Again, he treated me with respect and seemed to truly care about what had happened. He calmed me down, and mentioned he would look into this. Granted, every situation is done on a case by case basis, but I feel that this is so important for anyone that wants to purchase a car from them, that this is by far the best used dealership that I have ever dealt with. They were able to take the vehicle back, and that literally saved my life. I had no idea how or what I was going to do, and in a world like we are having today, all I could do was pray and just wait. My prayers were answered and since then, my faith has truly been restored, and I will always be so thankful to them. Not only have they treated me with respect, caring and understanding, but when they say that they are happy that you are a part of their Royal Automotive family, they truly mean it and will do whatever they can for you, to make sure that you are happy with your purchase. I served in the US Army, and I can tell you, that being a part of such an awesome organization, truly made me feel that doing so, was worth it for business’s such as Royal Automotive. I am and will always be so grateful and so very appreciative because I know that they didn’t have to do anything, but yet they did, and they truly are so much more than any dealership that is out there. Read moreAs a first time car buyer, buying a car last week at Royal Automotive i must say i give this place FIVE STARS. I went in there about a week ago with a $3,000 Down Payment looking for a car in the $6,000-$7,000 price range. After looking at the cars that were in my price range, i was looking to at this red Pontiac for 7,500 i took it on a test drive and it was good i liked it and it was clean and comfortable but i wasn't really feeling the sex appeal of the Pontiac. Not that it was dirty because it was very clean and looked like they took good car of it but idk i think it was just the body the grill. So anyway THE AMAZING lady that works there was understanding and knew that i wanted a GREAT CAR MECHANICALLY with sex appeal so she mentioned this 2011 Volkswagen Passat that was GREAT MECHANICALLY with only 53,000 miles on it and it definitely had the sex appeal to it that i was looking for. it was a little higher then i wanted to pay for at 10,000 but i felt that this was a GREAT DEAL and i wasn't going to come across a really nice car with only 53,000 miles on it. So that's what i ended up getting. Also during the registration process with the insurance company i was $100 Short and Royal Automotive fronted me the $100 so i can get the heck out of there with the car that i wanted. i went in and payed them that $100 yesterday and thanked them again for everything they did for me. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE with cool sales people and a chill atmosphere and they are willing to help you out. I definitely would recommend anyone from first time buy to finding your dream car to at least stop by and just check them out it will be worth the 30min
