Frame De Art — Local services in Englewood

I will start by saying if I could give them 10 stars, I would. Being a small business owner, I greatly appreciate and certainly see the value in superb customer service, as well as exceptional quality of work. But they go beyond that. I had them completely fabricate a custom frame for me, for a jersey. The gentleman I worked with was in step the entire time with design and planning. I needed it to match an existing frame I already had. He matched the frame, but you can certainly tell it is even better than the one I already had! Which was professionally framed in New York. You can see the actual detailed nuances that set them apart, yet still match great! He did a lot of extra things, and made a lot of executive decisions that he didn't necessarily have to, just to go above and beyond. And I couldn't be happier! It's really no surprise, as when I first started researching and trying to get this completed, another jersey framing company actually referred me to Frame De Art! And I am certainly happy they did. What I needed was specific, challenging, unique, and required special attention, and they NAILED IT. I don't run into a ton of people that need framing done, but if I do, I know where I'm sending...

I've been meaning to write this review since November 2016, but when an experience goes above and beyond your expectations, one doesn't forget it. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Brian and Frame de Art II. We had a tight deadline to get prints framed and then shipped to an expo in Brooklyn. We called several places and nobody said they could get the job done in the time frame we needed, except Brian. He spent several hours with us, our own fault for taking so long, not his, when we met at the store after calling ahead. His professionalism, patience, and knowledge were exceptional and we truly felt he went well beyond what he had to do. We were incredibly pleased with the results and timeliness of the framings. I know if, and when, we need something else framed, this is the place we will be taking our business. Without hesitation, I'd recommend Frame de Art II for all framing needs! ...

In nutshell: very knowledgeable, excellent service, and outstanding work quality! I had an oil panting on a canvas from Argentina that needed to be stretched to a wood frame. Frame De Art did a great job! Unfortunately, I then took the painting once stretched to another store for cheaper framing. You get what you pay for. They framed the picture too tight and the canvas puckered. I also noticed a crease in the picture. I took it to Frame De Art and Trudy assisted me. She pointed out that the crease was actually a crack in the paint which happens when you roll an oil painting (which is how this was transported from Argentina). Trudy steamed the painting and fixed the pucker caused by the framing. She did a fabulous job and did this all complimentary. I will definitely go back and won't go anywhere else for my framing.
