My mom bought a Groupon for me but it ended up being under her name for here before COVID happened in The beginning of the year. I called in June and explained it's in her name but she wants to gift it to me. The lady said they arnt doing anything for face till July and to call back then and if should be fine if it's in my moms name and wants to give it to me. I called back in July and it was going to expire July 15 so I tried to make the appointment before the 15th. The lady said she didn't have anything until the 15th so I said OK perfect and it's OK if I use my mom's Groupon yes no problem again she said. I get there on the 15th the day the coupon expires mind you I'm coming from New York going over to George Washington Bridge paying $16. I get there only to be told no I told you your appointment was the 16th I said but my coupon expires the 15th and I explained that to you she said yes and I said I would honor it even though it's expired on the 16th.After I got over being annoyed about the confusion I said I would come back tomorrow the 16th for my appointment I explained again that my mom had bought the Groupon I brought my mothers phone and my mother's ID with me and I said are you sure I'll be able to come back tomorrow and get this done. The lady said no problem she printed out the Groupon from my moms phone and took a photo copy of her ID. I left disappointed and annoyed but knowing I'd be coming back the next day. The next day comes I go all the way over to Jersey again and I get their fill out my paperwork sit down only to be told the doctor will not take the Groupon if it's under my mothers name. I explained this to the lady multiple times she assured me that it was fine multiple times!! She had no remorse for her mistake she just came out and coldly said the doctor will not take your Groupon. When I explained her mistake to her she proceeded to yell over me trying to get her point across that the doctor is the boss and not her! She reassured me multiple times that it was OK and I asked specifically because I didn't wanna waste my time again. They're rude in that place not even caring then I came twice and still didn't get a service done. Now the Groupon is expired and we're gonna have to try to get our money back through Groupon. This place is unprofessional and rude. It's dirty and dingy and it's in a basement and it smells like mold the women at the desk are unattractive and do not deserve to be representing a plastic surgery office. Read moreI thought you couldn’t go wrong with laser hair removal, but I was wrong! I’ve had it in the past and have always seen results within days. I was first surprised to see a male doctor ready to perform my Brazilian laser removal. Even at a gynos office, i have the right to request a female tech/doctor if I feel uncomfortable. The assistant was rude and upset with me for requesting a female for the procedure. When I requested that my female friend at least accompany me, she seemed annoyed, made a face, and said “but I will be in the room too?” The laser hair removal did not work at all. I called a week later, for them to contact Groupon because the laser removal didn’t work at all. She then tried to convince me it was “impossible” to see results within a week. She also told me she was not going to contact Groupon unless I first paid them DIRECTLY for the one INEFFECTIVE service i received. She said my friend and I had to give them $50 first, and then they would send Groupon an email. SCAM. I contacted Groupon again and finally got my refund, and guess what? I didn’t have to pay them anything out of pocket. I’ve had laser hair removal sessions in the past, and every single time, my hair was falling out within at least 3 days. My friend who also purchased the same Groupon saw no results at all after 7 days. Even now, after weeks, it’s as if nothing happened. I came to google and Groupon reviews, to my horror, I realized I made a huge mistake. The assistant even comments back and argues with clients who leave negative reviews on google, and on Groupon, in rude and defensive tone. She even goes as far to say “you’re being paid by our competitors” LOL! So unprofessional. You’d expect an “I’m sorry, how can we fix it?” I WISH someone paid me for this terrible experience. I’ve never seen anything like it. There are complaints that goes back years too, yet things seem to be the same. So many things wrong with this place. So many things wrong with the staff. Arrived 20min early to my 10am appt, the office was still close, im like ok, they open at 10am so I waited in the car, lady came in at 9:50am, walked in and sign in, she tried to call the doctor and her call was forwarded to VM, 5 min later called her back and she said “you have a lipo patient” oh for all that time I schedule, he wasnt aware. Anyway, I waited doctor didn't get there until almost 10:20am and by that time we had 3 ppl on the wait room, he walked in without greeting anyone and came back while putting om his wrinkled lab coat, still no greeting, took my chart and called my name and I followed him to the room. A lady was in there with us, he reviewed and said “ok, lipo, i do that” and I said which area I was looking for and he asked if i smoked or had kids, i said no and he said “ok, sk this area and that that will be $4999” less than 1 min in, i was giving a quite while no informations as to how, where the procedure is done so for a couple second it was awkward silence, I asked him a few questions like if the procedure is here, is it painful with local anesthesia and if he wanted to visibly see my concerned area and I lost interest and said thank you for your time since i was getting only “yes, no, yes” answers and by 10:23am I was escorted out by the lady who was pushing to make a $1000 while discussing my procedure in front of everyone at the waiting area, after telling her twice that I dont want to make a deposit and she was still handing me the tablet to put in my card info, I told her I’ll call her and left.
