Transcending the geographical borders and culinary norms of Mediterranean cuisine, Lulu â a newly unveiled gem in our city, captivates with a vivid fusion of Turkish, Greek, and Mediterranean flavors, accompanied by an impressive hukkah service.
Lulu's ambiance, echoing the vibrant and comforting spirit of the Mediterranean, is captivating from the onset. Here, tradition and innovation intertwine effortlessly, reflected in both the décor and the menu, crafting a warm and inviting setting that transcends the boundaries of a typical dining experience.
The menu is an exploration of vibrant Mediterranean mezzes, well-loved dishes from the Turkish, Greek, and wider Mediterranean pantheon, meticulously modernized. From staple classics like Hummus and Babaganoush, Lulu ventures into creative territory with the fusion of avocado in the Avogonnoush and Tzatziki & Avocado Dip, adding a delightful contemporary spin. The smoky, complex notes of the eggplant dishes, particularly the Eggplant with Sauce, are genuinely delightful, playing well against the tangy Green Pepper and earthy Tomato.
The Sharing section is where Lulu truly shines. The Feta & Parsley Gozleme â a traditional Turkish stuffed phyllo delight â boasts a rich, flaky crust that complements the bright, briny feta and fresh parsley perfectly. Likewise, the Lamb with Sucuk is a bold combination, featuring warm hummus topped with succulent pieces of lamb and za'atar, encapsulating the rich, bold flavors of Turkish cuisine. The Calamari and Shrimp & Garlic are beautifully cooked, tender, and harmoniously seasoned.
Turning to the Munchies, Lulu offers comfort-food favorites like Chicken Wings and Mozzarella Sticks, but with a noticeable Mediterranean influence. The standout here is the Coconut Shrimp, with its tropical flair and accompanying lime and sweet chili sauce adding a welcome burst of tangy heat.
Lulu's entrée selection is equally as impressive. The Adana Kebab is succulent and well-seasoned, providing a substantial main that melds perfectly with the accompanying rice and sautéed veggies. Seafood lovers will be pleased by the Grilled Branzino, a dish that truly captures the essence of Mediterranean coastal cuisine, served with arugula salad and sautéed veggies. The Manti, tiny lamb stuffed dumplings, is a delightful experience of flavor and texture.
For dessert, diners will find a variety of sweet Turkish and Greek treats. Coupled with a steaming cup of Turkish tea, these offerings provide the perfect sweet conclusion to your Mediterranean journey.

Read moreI really wanted this to be a beautiful night, especially since it was my 30th birthday, but unfortunately it just didnât turn out that way. The heater was directly over our table, which made it uncomfortable for everyone, and all the girls. We just got their make up, and Hair done for this party, and when we mentioned it, the response was pretty much to deal with it. We were a party of 20+ people. Never go here if youâre planning to go with a Party.!!
We ended up leaving and calling Cedars Lebanese Cuisine in Wallington, and I am so grateful we did. Everything you would hope Lulu Mediterranean is with the belly dancers. The Mediterranean food. Cedars was that and more classy. They were space to breathe. No nasty heater above your head. I just cannot even imagine how my birthday wouldâve ended up if I stayed at Lulu the whole night.
Back story, I came here before, The first time the same thing happened. The servers unfortunately can not speak English. Thereâs always miscommunication. And itâs so small and the food I CAN NOT EVEN TELL TOU, not ok.
Youâre packed in there like sardines, but unfortunately, my friend decided to throw me a surprise party, and since they didnât know any better. They pick this place. iâm a business owner myself and trust me. I hate doing these bad reviews, but it just needs to be sad because they do this, and my friends experience the same exact thing as well.
Honestly, just very disappointing. And this isnât the first time. If youâre celebrating a birthday, do yourself a favor, and donât come here. Literally go anywhere else that has Mediterranean vibes,...

I had the opportunity to eat at the Mediterranean Restaurant the other day and the experience was definitely beyond my expectations. The warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant captivates you the moment you step inside. The elegant decoration with Mediterranean influences and the pleasant music made me feel relaxed and that I was going to have a nice evening.
As for the menu, it was quite impressive in terms of variety and taste. Especially the olive oil dishes and fresh seafood that I tried created a feast of flavors on my palate. It was very obvious that each dish was prepared with care and the highest quality ingredients were used. The grilled sea bass that I ordered as my main course was crispy on the outside and incredibly soft and juicy on the inside. The fresh greens and lemon sauce on the side complemented the meal perfectly.
The quality of service was really excellent. The waiters were both polite and extremely knowledgeable; they were able to provide detailed information about each dish on the menu and made the best recommendations. They were also always smiling and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable.
All in all, the Mediterranean Restaurant is a must-try for anyone looking for quality food and superior service. I will never forget the pleasant moments I spent here and will definitely...
