Pintxo y Tapas — Restaurant in Englewood

The atmosphere was inviting the moment we walked in. We arrived at an off peak time and were promptly seated.

We ordered Sangria (red &white) both were strong and chilled. For dinner we ordered the Ternera Madrileña (veal in a light wine sauce) with Saffron rice. The veal was 4 tender cutlets, large enough for both of us. We also ordered the Albondiguillas Estofadas Tapas (meatballs in brandy sauce) they were soup size meatballs and plentiful for 2, very tasty. Finally we had the Fritos Tapas which consisted of (4 empanadillas, 2 chicken croquettes & 2 cod croquettes). Each tasty and well cooked. For dessert we had the Almond Tart.

Note that at peak times Pintxo Y Tapas does get busy so plan to go during off peak for quick seating.

Thanks to our waiter Dido who was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, without being overbearing and helped make our evening an enjoyable experience.

I had a horrible experience here. We booked a reservation for 4pm for 15 people for a birthday. When the server/manager takes our order at 4:20pm he starts saying we need to hurry up because He needs the table for another reservation at 6pm. We already had 2 pitchers of sangria and weren’t delaying or even taking our time. He then repeated over and over again how he didn’t care whether we were done or not he needed the table by 6. The restaurant was empty. Only one other table was seated. His attitude and tone were extremely rude. We were being kicked out the moment we sat down. We left. Paid for the sangria and in less than 15-20 min were seated in another tapas restaurant in Tenafly where we were treated with courtesy and respect. Don’t waste your money in this place, go to any of the other tapas...

Amazing customer service!! This servers have been here for a long time and they are the sweetest! So polite and helpful! The food is authentic and delicious! This was my first time here but my friend has come several times before and she told me they have been always like this. I personally recommend the tapas! You have soooo many options and it's sooo tasty!. We asked for the papas aioli, the seafood salad, the octopus and some empanadas gallegas (tuna). We couldn't ask for an entrance because by the time we ended the tapas we were too full, but this is a good excuse to come back.... although I don't think I need any excuse because it was such a great experience!!

Real Spanish food and very well prepared!. Do not hesitate!!, come and enjoy this excellent...
