Ennis Trails — Local services in Ennis

This review is by a current tenant and my experience living here. I've been here for a few months now, it wasn't a bad place before and still isn't BAD. Within the last 3 months I've noticed it's much louder with dogs constantly barking throughout the day that I can hear in my apt, glass in the parking areas from bottles and car window glass, trash accumulation is out of hand by dumpsters. Some other things is that the office is not open daily. It's difficult to get ahold of someone. I've also put in a service request for a AC filter change(it's been 2 months, I would do it myself but don't have access to the door) this is a health hazard. One more thing is that all of us were given a letter on our doors about not being able to pay with a money order,(which are like 2 bucks) but HAVE to pay online via the portal at Ennis Trails. This is a 45 DOLLAR FEE! that will have to be paid every month, by all 72 tenants. Which equals to about $39,000 per year ! I believe someone started that company to get more money off us tenants, so whatever your rent is, add 50 dollars to that. Also, after switching managers the new Manager has a bad attitude and thinks she is the law..hilarious. The living spaces aren't that bad, but they were built in a hurry, (some doors are hard to shut, the vinyl tile is peeling at some areas, my sink drain pipe isn't connected properly due to misalignment that I cannot fix, walls are thin, my floor shakes from the neighbor slamming their door, no screens for windows. So, I never open my window for fresh air, no carports to protect your vehicle investment from...

Lived here for a year and my god…. So first off no cameras anywhere, there has been cars stolen, broken into numerous of times, our car was backed into and no note was left. Get use to the smell of mamajuana, every day and night strong smell Of weed non stop just flows, our air conditioning unit froze up each month and when we put in a maintenance request, they wouldn’t show up for minimum of a week later. Next, the thinnest walls, and ceilings ever. You can hear the neighbors above you and next you more than you could manage. Talked with the manager several times and nothing was ever done. I would never recommend this place if you can help it. They encourage you to put in your own security cameras instead of them spending the money to put up some security cameras. Absolutely no amenities, no pool, no nothing! Recommend you find a better apartment...

Lived here for a year and couldn’t wait until my lease was over. Hard to get in touch with office, maintenance requests take a while to be fulfilled, walls are super thin(could hear upstairs neighbors conversation word for word). Wouldn’t recommend living there, and when you move out they keep your deposit. I made sure my apartment was spotless when moving out and actually seen online that it was rented out less than a week after me moving but they kept my deposit for “carpet cleaning...
