UPDATE: Mr Riordan, owner of All Cracked Up, reached out to me this morning in response to my experience. He was so very nice and professional about the whole interaction. I am currently back at All Cracked Up and Mr Riordan and Victoria are working on the phone at no cost to me including putting on a screen saver while I wait. This experience has been as pleasant as yesterday's was unpleasant. Couldn't ask for anyone to be more professional.
I had the worst experience of my life at All Cracked Up. I paid Josh $30 plus tax to replace Note 10+ screen protector only to return about an hour later to find my phone all messed up. Not only had he pulled off and thrown away the screen protector that was on the phone when I took it in but the new tempered glass protector he had put on had air bubbles and there was glue all along the edge of the phone screen. There was some kind of oily solution on the back of this expensive phone that I can only assume was a solution he used to attempt to remove the excess glue. I told him that was not acceptable and he would need to redo the job. He said he didn't have anymore protectors but there was more hanging on the rack in the lobby. I asked for my money back and he refused. I asked for the owner's name and he very belligerently refused that also. He kept leaning across the counter getting right in my face raising his voice and insisting he fixed my phone. He finally refunded my money but I felt very threatened by his posture and tone of voice. He slso removed the protector he had put on leaving me with no screen protector at all since he threw away the one I had. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy. Evidently, according to the reviews, I'm not the only customer that's received terrible service at this business. Go at your own risk!
UPDATE: Not only did I have to leave that business without a screen protector on my phone, I can no longer plug in the charging cable and the sound is messed up! Apparently Josh had so much of the glue or the oily solvent he was using to try to remove the excess glue that one or the other or possibly both got down into the inner components and messed up the phone! I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau! Please contact me immediately with what action you plan to take in the repair/replacement of my Note 10+ and none of it better include bringing it back to this...
Read moreFirst of all the people are very nice and helpful. They did the work pretty quick. Now I did have a problem and that was that I set up a battery replacement on 2 iPhones by coming in on 1 day and talking to a guy behind the counter. 1 question I asked is if they are oem batteries as I was thinking the price was low for them to not be some Chinese knockoffs. The guy said they are oem so I came back the next day with mine and my daughters iPhones. My phone wasn’t too bad and had no problems except the charge didn’t last as along as before so since I was doing 1 phone and I was told they were oem I did mine as well. A nice lady did the work and got them back to me really pretty quickly (very happy with her service and all) After I got them back I went outside and realized the phone was giving me a message saying the batteries aren’t oem. So I went right back in and now it was a different guy which turned out was possibly the owner which said they can’t get oem and I was told that but apologized and said he’d talk to the other guy and tell him not to say that they are. My phone has had a couple problems ever since. It randomly makes the tone for making an audio recording and when making phone calls a lot of times I can’t get the screens to change during the call in order to make selections or to even push the hang-up button and the battery still doesn’t hold a charge as long as it should. I’ve taken it back and she took it back apart and went through and said everything is good on it, but it still does these things. I am definitely not happy with my phone and how it works now. It is also appears much slower connecting to the internet when you open safari, but I don’t know if that could’ve been effected by the...
Read moreI have used a All Cracked Up for a number of phone repairs now (family of 4, 3 of us are hard on phones!). My first experience with them went through a parts order issue, and a "stuff happens" issue, throughout which Pat went out of his way (and lost money over all) to make sure it was right. That was the only problem I've ever had with them, and the customer service and communication (and dedication to making it right) is what has sold me on them.... Things happen, how a business handles it is what defines them. And Pat and his crew have defined All Cracked Up as an outstanding business, reasonably priced with great communication and incredible...
