Dragon Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Enterprise

I've been alternating between Jin Jin and Dragon Garden for many years now and I'd say it's a toss up between the two for me. They both serve excellent Chinese takeout and I have favorites from each that I routinely get. Some things I prefer more from one (like the lo mein from Jin Jin, which is thicker and more satisfying than the noodles DG uses) and some thing from the other (DG's sweet and sour chicken is incredible, whereas with Jin Jin's it can be a bit dry/tough at times. Oh, and DG's egg rolls are superior!). Both restaurants are also very timely and it's extremely rare--as in, I can't remember the last time it ever happened--that they get my order wrong or forget something.

The only reason I gave DG 4 stars, and why Jin Jin gets 5, is the etiquette of the staff. Jin Jin has some of the friendliest cashiers and they go out of their way to make sure you get everything you need; they even give out a free Chinese-style calendar just about every year! It's more of a mixed bag with the staff at DG. The young girls that normally work the register can be pretty cold/rude sounding (even irritated at times) when they talk to you, with the exception of the oldest girl--she's very sweet. The owner also comes off a little cold sometimes but he's pretty friendly when you talk to him. I assume some of it is just a cultural thing so maybe it's not fair to criticize too much, but I do think his youngest daughters could learn to be a bit friendlier to customers and maybe smile from time to time.

Used to love this place but tonight my mom picked up food for herself, me and my 18 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER, get the food home and every bit of it tasted like chemicals. My child was eating before we did and ate more than we did. Called to discuss with the manager and they wanted to credit our next meal and had ZERO concern that MY CHILD or even us just ate cleaning chemicals from their restaurant. will NEVER eat here again and will NEVER recommend to anyone ever again. Food was ok..... I just went to pick up some hot and sour soup I ordered over the phone. It was kind of bland. I had to doctor it up once I got home. I agree with some of the other post, customer service is sub par at best. When I went to pick up my order the guy came to the cash register and just stood there and looked at me.
