The staff at Shannon's helped me navigate what can be a very overwhelming process of buying an engagement ring with ease, expertise, and grace. Tan, the owner and head jeweler, stated up-front that they would work hard to help me find the ring that I (and my significant other) would be 100% satisfied with. Both of the staff that I worked with: Casey and Ryan, were friendly and professional as they assisted me and educated me about settings and diamonds. Because of their excellent service and knowledge I decided before I bought the ring that they were my jeweler, as they were serving me as their customer so well. I ended up finding a setting online that I really loved, and after showing it to Tan he was able to essentially match the setting! I was very pleased with how the ring came out, and I saved big time by not buying the name-brand ring. Perhaps the most helpful thing I appreciated in the process was that I could communicate with Tan and the other staff through texting. There's nothing that can beat a personal, local jeweler who is available in that way! Lastly, Tan worked extremely hard to meet my time-frame. I was at a wedding out-of-state and would fly in on Saturday night. My hope was that after meeting with Tan that same week (Tuesday), that he would be able to order the pieces and create my ring before Sunday when I planned to propose. However, due to my being out of town I wasn't going to be able to meet him at the store during regular business hours. He was flexible and agreed to meet me outside the store early on a Sunday morning off the clock so that I could purchase the ring and deliver it according to plan on Sunday afternoon. His kindness helped make my big day a great success, and I have all of the wonderful memories of that day because this jewelry team is a winner. Thanks to everyone at Shannon's! Our experience at Shannon's was amazing. Tan, the owner and goldsmith, was the real MVP for my husband and I! We visited the shop several weeks ago, because the diamond in my engagement ring had recently become loose. Shannon's Fine Jewelry was recommended to us, so we contacted the shop about two weeks before leaving for a trip overseas, wondering if it would be possible for my ring to be fixed before we left, and Tan assured us he would do everything possible to have the ring back in time for me to wear it on the trip. He explained in detail what was wrong with the setting of the ring, and what he could do to fix it. Even though the shop was quite busy, and our request came with not very much time to work with, Tan made sure to have my engagement ring ready to go almost a week before we departed. I recently brought in a much-loved, 2-stone pinky ring. The prongs felt rough and I was hoping for a maintenance assessment. Tan looked it over and said some of the prongs did need to be replaced. He assured me he would take good care of my little ring. He was SO right. A week later I was back in to pick it up and when he handed it to me I could hardly believe my eyes...the stones in the ring shone like never before! Tan explained that he had re-worked the prongs so that they would not hide the stones. I have worn this ring, every day, for 31 years and have had it serviced at a few high-end jewelers and yet my ring looked even better than it did on the day I received it. I've since brought in another ring for assessment and Tan said this ring looked good, cleaned it, and even gave me a rough estimate of its value..all for free. I will be taking all my repair work to Shannon's. I really appreciate this store's personal attention and level of skill....
