Well, I needed new chairs and saw a clearance sign that said up to 70% off. When I got in the store I realized that was mis-matched accessories and not the furniture. My furniture was discounted supposedly but more like 15-20% off regular retail. Everything is always on sale so in my opinion there was no discount. When I asked about the up to 70% off it was explained as the accessories, not the furniture. Seemed like false advertising to me. I was asked if that was alright with me. Obviously sales training. I shrugged and got no response. Regardless I wanted new Lazy-Boy chairs, so proceeded to purchase two. On 7/21/2021 I was told they would be delivered in 2 weeks. On 8/8/2021 I finally heard from them. Then, my salesman told me the earliest they could be delivered was 8/20 or 8/21/2021 and that I would not which day or time until the night before. I donât appreciate being lied to and deceived, nor do I appreciate being told I would get a call the following Monday to discuss their inflexible process and that not happening. I was once again asked at the end of my conversation with the salesman if that was alright with me. This time I said ânoâ. I told him I was thinking of cancelling and got no comment for that or my no itâs not okay. Really poor sales experience. Worse delivery scheduling experience I have ever had. Why on earth could the appointment not be set when I purchased the chairs?
I am giving two stars only because the delivery for which I had to cancel weekend getaway plans was seamless and the gentlemen were gracious and respectful. The salespeople should be trained by the delivery team.
I was going to order a sectional from them to finish my refurnishing project but have decided not give them my $4-6,000 purchase. Oh, also I called for a manager twice including the day before the delivery and left messages and no one called me back. I wonât be back even though I have had lazy-boy furniture over the...
Read moreI don't usually complain. However, after spending $$$ for complete makeover in our Living Room it still missing the professional design element we were hoping for by selecting furniture at Lazy Boy store in Eugene, Oregon.. The design service we received is below par. The chair fabric for the two chairs did not coordinated with the Sofa, ottoman and rug they sold us in the design. We loved the style of chairs selected, but the fabric did work with natural light. When we brought this to the attention of the Store manager "Carrie". She acted like she couldn't of care less. She later made the decision to pick up the chairs and refund our money then to have her designer come out to take a look to suggest a new fabric that worked. My wife said, their own delivery drivers who picked up the chairs also thought the fabric on the chairs did not match for the rest of the furniture we bought. Very disappointed!
Carrie, I feel the need to point out a glaring inaccuracy in your reply. My wife and I requested to have your new designer come out to the house to see for herself the âdesign elementsâ of the our living room. Her reply to was âshe could only come if I was willing to make a new purchaseâ..... What ? why would we want to buy more furniture that doesn't go with the original concept. So we came back to your showroom and selected new fabric for the chairs with the aid of your designer. While there, we specifically asked if the chairs would match the carpet and coordinate the with the sofa already purchased. Amanda (Designer) assured us the chair fabric would match, but they did not, not even close....

Read moreI ordered a couch in June and was told it would take 6-9 months to receive. The saleswoman was really nice, as others have reported. In October, I checked in and was told it would be December. Fine, still within the promised period (which would be by March at the latest). In November, I checked in and was told it would no longer be December, but now March, and I was also rather tersely reminded that they had until March to deliver after all. Now it is the end of March, and I've most recently been told the couch will ship in April and arrive in May. Where in the world is it coming from that it will take four more weeks to get here? Having been around this circle a few times, I have no reason to believe I'm being told the truth. Also, it's never the same person twice whom I talk to at this store. This is my first experience with LaZBoy and my last. I will have to go to my credit card company now to dispute the $1K+ of my money they have been holding onto for 9 months and, in the end, I will still be without a couch. What a hassle and a time-wasting experience. Also, it really took all the joy out of anticipating the new couch. I'm a reasonable person, and I have been very patient, but I honestly haven't encountered any other legitimate business that operates this way. I ordered and placed a rather substantial (to me) deposit on a product they promised, and in response, they have not provided the product I purchased. There are hundreds of these types of complaints on the BBB website, so please do your research before giving your money to this business....
