The Delta Bar — Restaurant in Eugene

Daytime staff isn't very welcoming. Came here in the afternoon to celebrate moving to Eugene with a party of 3 of us, my brother and his girlfriend and myself. The older woman bartender with the permed hair met us with a pretty rude demeanor.

No welcome in or anything just stared at us and then singled me out for my ID immediately, which is normal for a bar yes but the way it was just me that was singled out and being the only person of color in the bar felt pretty discriminatory, she never asked my younger brother for his ID at all btw.

Then when we ask about drink specials or what kind of martini she'd recommend she just kind of brushed us off and the one martini that did end up getting ordered by my brothers gf she never even gave her a chance to specify the vodka she would like and just started pouring it with Fleischmann's vodka which is the last thing anybody would want in a Vodka if they know their vodka.

At some point that bartender left and another one took over, also didn't greet us or say a word to us just stared at us the entire time like we were intruding. The whole experience and atmosphere was just very unwelcoming and we quickly finished our drinks and what we could manage to get down between the 3 of us of that Fleischmann's martini and left. I love this little bar.

Its convenient location meant I could stop by for a beer or two, then get some random things at Wally world before heading home. All in the same parking lot.

The bartenders are always friendly and great to speak with. They keep the place clean and make sure you're satisfied with what you have and if you want more. I usually just get a PBR and the prices are what you would expect for that kind of beer. No complaints.

I like the color scheme of the inside, although I'm mostly on the front porch, smoking. They have adequate seating and heating out front, it's a nice little cozy atmosphere.

I've never eaten there so all I can really say is if you want a nice little quiet bar to stop by and have a couple drinks to unwind for the day, then this is a solid...

This is the 3rd time. I've been treated differently at this bar. And no one has a explanation. Other people see it too. I've asked several times for the owners number. Finally I just left mine. DIFFERENT PEOPLE ARE TREATED DIFFERENT AT THIS BAR. Including different pricing. This is how people get sued. The bar tenders are the owners correct? If not I feel sorry because this could have been avoided
