Jamba — Restaurant in Eugene

Up until today I have always had a good experience at this location. Ordered a Peanut Butter Moo'd, sub cold brew for soy milk. This is my go-to order for the past couple months since being recommended by one of the great people that previously worked there. Today it was awful. There was a little mix up at the register trying to sub cold brew in place of the soymilk, but I think we got that sorted out. The drink I received was "slimy", no other way to describe it. Something in there was spoiled, or they have switched to a lesser quality ingredient. Also, it seems like they go through an entirely new rotation of employees every couple months, so maybe it was a new person today making the smoothies. Either way, called to at least give them a heads up that something is off, but no one answered the phone. Time to give this place a break for a while. Going to toss the second half of this nastiness and try...

Staff were incredible and willing to help me try and recreate a smoothie.

There was a shop at my university that made mango orange key lime smoothies. They were AMAZING! Unfortunately that pop up was one of the only ones of that business in my state, the store front closed AND they stopped selling the smoothies in other places.

The staff at this Jamba were willing and incredibly helpful with figuring out what smoothies would be close enough to edit and the result was very close!

The smoothie I received had blueberries in it which I knew ahead of time but it did throw of the flavor for the goal smoothie just a tad. Also the goal smoothie had a real KICK from the lime, it was almost tart/sour but soooo good after the mango flavor.

I will be back to do more science. This Jamba was quick, super friendly, and did an excellent job!

Spent $20 on smoothies and got treated very poorly by an in store manager (eye rolling, whispering, laughing, etc) for politely asking for a very disgusting pumpkin smash to be remade. She made me feel super uncomfortable asking for another smoothie to be remade as well, as it was overly blended and just liquid. I don't like sending food back or complaining about badly made food/drinks ever. But I also didn't want to leave with something my family wouldn't even be able to drink. I was treated like a complete inconvenience. Contacted the owner of the store and voiced my concerns. Her reply honestly sounded forced as if her and said manager were friends and she wasn't actually going to do anything about it. Received coupons for 2 free small smoothies as an...
