It really saddens me that I have to update my review and convert a 5 star to 1. I bought a serviced Mcintosh amplifier at a good price and was very impressed with the business and owner. I felt like I was buying from old school shop, & owner with old school integrity. The amplifier was demonstrated at the shop for a minute or so and I did not rneed more, after all - it was serviced, right? Sadly, after hooking it up at home, I started noticing that from time to time there are problems with one channel: distortion and volume changes that would go away only to return repeatedly. I was sure that once contacting the owner I will be offered help to resolve. I even proposed to invoke the 90 day service warranty and to drop the item myself. However, the emails that before purchase were answered so promptly, were now un-responded... a seller that does not stand behind his products is not someone you would like...

Bradford's is the spot in town for high-end audio equipment. Staff are hands down the audio experts in this town, and can troubleshoot any listening problem you have. Don't expect BIG BOX pricing or staffing. Bradford's is family owed, staffed by someone who has lived in the community for years. They want to get your listening experience right, and are always interested in hearing how the equipment you've purchased is functioning. The equipment I've purchased from Bradford's has been exceptional; friends always remark how good our audio systems sound. I was extremely impressed with the service we received. We were looking for a home theater system that was good quality but wasn't a 10k system. I was familiar with quality products, but I'm no audiophile. I really appreciated the guidance and personal touch we experienced at Bradfords. We were able to listen to a range of systems that helped narrow our decision. We then brought in our own music and we're allowed to listen for as long as needed to make the right decision.
