I am compelled to share my recent disappointing experience at Binny's, which has left me utterly frustrated and dissatisfied.
Despite being a loyal customer who frequents Binny's regularly, I was shocked by the treatment I received during my most recent visit on April 19, around 6:00 PM. I have always used my international ID without any issue at Binny's numerous times in the past. However, on this occasion, a different manager was present, and his attitude was completely unacceptable.
It was evident that this new manager was unnecessarily rigid and seemed to relish in exerting his authority by implementing what felt like arbitrary and unnecessary rules. His demeanor was rude, condescending, and frankly, uncalled for. It felt as though he was on a power trip, treating customers with disdain rather than respect.
Moreover, the service provided by the lady at the counter was appalling. Her attitude was dismissive, and she displayed a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy.
As someone who values good customer service and has consistently had positive experiences at Binny's in the past, I am deeply disappointed by the decline in standards. It is disheartening to see a once-reliable establishment succumb to such poor management and customer relations.
In light of this experience, I am reconsidering whether Binny's deserves my continued patronage. I sincerely hope that management takes the necessary steps to address these issues and restore the level of service that loyal customers like myself have...
Read moreI’m from Evanston so this is a great location. I come in and spend good money and do instacart orders here as well. However the last couple times I’ve been it’s a Chinese looking manager, he’s short and makes me feel so uncomfortable. He brushes me off and have took other customers before me. The looks he gives me like he’s watching me. Just makes me feel so little. I don’t believe he has the correct traits to be a manager. Today I went in, spent over 200 but before I was asking him about some liquor. Again he brushed me off like go to ale 13 etc couldn’t help.. Thank God for this older white man (I’m mad I didn’t get this name) but he was so helpful he even went to the computers with me to help me find the name of this liquor I wanted. And I thanked him because it’s a good 4 customers in the store and a million workers yet there “busy”! I’m saying all this to say please get your management team some customer service classes. Everyone should be...
Read moreI would like to inform Binny’s about the Racial experience that my Husband encountered at this Evanston location from your Employee (Jay) in the Cigar department. Jay had a terrible, unpleasant attitude towards my Husband this morning with helping him selecting cigars. My Husband proceeded to asked him for help with retrieving two bottles of Dusse, Jay Blatantly told him to asked the cashier because that was not his department, BUT the Caucasian Customer after my Husband asked Jay in cigar for help with Alcohol, Jay walked with the Caucasian Customer to the Alcohol Dept and assisted him with selecting his Beverages. Jay's actions are unacceptable and he should treat all Customers EQUALLY, let’s not forget that if it was not for ALL Customers he would not have a job. Have a...
