Actually I would like to give the bagels sandwich I had a four-star service however it's another thing there is a young man there today wearing a New York Yankees cap I realize I made an error in judgment when I touch the bottom of the paper coffee cup to see what size it was has he aggressively yell please don't touch the cups I apologized for realizing my error, he then said only because of covid-19. In which I understand, so I apologized a second time, but to his paranoia and his hypocrisy I noticed he was wearing food server gloves that he had on when he took money and gave change from the customer before me, without changing his gloves he then touched my coffee cup took my money gave me my change and proceeded to do the same with the next customer. If he's so worried about the spread of covid-19. You should practice good restaurant sanitation as well. Paper currency and coins are extremely high carriers germs, bacteria and diseases. Talk about cross-contamination this young man needs to be retrained in both sanitation in...
Read moreBagel Art Café has achieved what no other bagel establishment in the Chicagoland area has managed to achieve. The level of customer service provided is exemplary, setting a standard that is notably higher than that of its competitors. My relationship with a lox bagel is complex; I find myself simultaneously captivated by its allure and disillusioned by its execution. Capers pose a particularly intricate challenge: while they are essential for the authenticity of the lox bagel, their flavor oscillates between enhancement and potential overwhelming dominance. This modest request has often been met with derision, refusal, or neglect. However, my experience at Bagel Art Café has been markedly different. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Bagel Art Café and its dedicated artisans for fulfilling my long-held aspiration: the perfect...
Read moreBEST New York style bagels in Chicago area!! Bagels are fresh and soft and they have a wide range of cream cheeses. I’m super picky about my bagels and this is one of two places in Chicagoland that I love (with the other being bagellers coffeehouse in Lincoln Park). Sandwiches aren’t as good but it’s rare to find any place that does both superb. If you’re a bagel fanatic like me this place is a MUST-try. Also, staff is super friendly and nice and will remember your name if you go frequently. They have a wide range of indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee is great too and prices are not bad. Some cute shops across the street and great place to walk around. Lots of funky big houses on nearby residential streets. If you are looking to get out of Chicago and see part of Evanston this is a great place to go. So sad that I don’t come here anymore because of remote learning (used to come here on my school lunch break when I worked in Rogers Park). I...
