Swiss Pork Store — Local services in Fair Lawn

All this page from America's wonderful history is missing is the sawdust on the floor. We usually buy their excellent quality and tasting steaks, German cold-cuts and wursts but last week we bought filet mignon from them for a gathering of close friends. We got comments on the Filets we never expected. Better, more tender with more flavor, than what they recently had at some well-known steak houses from Outback to Morton's or a top price rodizio. My wife and I were glad to hear the reviews and enjoyed the filets as well. As I prepared them for the grill with just salt and pepper, I saw how closely trimmed the Swiss Pork store butcher had made them. The deep, beautiful red color of the meat was something I hadn't seen since our last porterhouses from them. SR, UncleG, Fresh grocer do not sell meat of this obvious quality. I don't work for them and am very happy they are close by and can be counted on....... Try the weiss wursts and their hot dogs too....such wonderful...

Was there on Monday feb 3. The guy with the blue knit cap seemed irritated and did his best to ignore me. When I wasn't sure of a particular deli meat and asked him for a sample after him describing it as sour he just continued to the slicer ignored me, even after I asked him 3 more times and saying I'm not sure that's what I want he wouldn't even turn around??!. Even the women standing next to me noticed his stuck up attitude and shook her head. OK to make matters worse I purchased 106 dollars worth of items after driving over an hour home I discovered that the large half loaf of Leberkase they sold me was bad, I'd go as far as to say Rotted. It smelled horrible, and was discolored. This is my second bad experience here with schnutzie counter men. I won't be going back and will order online from Karl Ehmer or Stiegelmeier...

If there is anyone who can show me a Shop that provides better quality meats than the Swiss Pork Store, than I doubt that you’ve ever shopped here. The quality of Everything they make in house and sell is second to none. The staff is helpful and friendly and go out of their way to help everyone. If you’re looking for fresh delicious and quality meats look no further than Swiss Pork Store.
