I can tell you now that the people who don't like this cafe have their own views, and while I respect everyone's right to choose and exist how they see fit, the decor immediately put me at ease as I felt the cafe was frequented by trustworthy people (iykyk).
Let's focus on the coffee: I enjoyed a flight of four sample iced lattes. 1)cinnamon toast crunch 2)pumpkin 3)nutter butter 4)s'mores Each one more intense in flavor than the last, and all with oat milk.
The coffee is of wonderful quality, and the flavorings all have a delicious taste. I should probably try the warmed pastries next time, but the family I shared a table with when I visited ordered them and seemed to enjoy them. The only thing preventing me from returning again is that the cafe is a little far to reasonably go to every day. Last I saw, a flight of four coffees costs $25, and is worth every penny for the experience. You can't however choose their frozen blended drinks to enjoy as part of the experience, but you can choose from hot, iced, and cold brew coffees. Meanwhile, they have a large selection of specials, standards, and seasonal flavors for your coffee drink of choice. I chose from the specials, but I will most likely choose the red velvet iced latte next time I choose to enjoy some caffeine here.
TL;DR: flights of 4 for $25. List of standard and specials, changing list of seasonals. Good pastries, likely good sandwiches, respectable...
Read moreI love a good coffee flight & what sets this place apart from other cafes that do it is you have the option to really put together your own flight with the flavors you want to try. I attached photos of the one I did and the menu to show the full flavor list. The peanut butter one is my favorite, close second is the ferrero. Price was a little more than other places I've gone to but for the option to choose what I want, I'll gladly pay it. I also had one of their warmed raspberry danishes (yum!). We had to sit outside because a few people decided to take up the indoor seats to work on their laptops. That's one critique I do have--I work remotely and I can appreciate getting out of the house to do your work, but if seating is this limited, I do think there should be a policy about time allotted for the indoor seating (if you're just hanging out/have finished your drinks and food). You can't order a flight without dining in, so just something to think about. There was a bit of a wait because we went on a Sunday morning, but the service was very friendly and apologized a few times (didn't need to!) Due to the wait. Overall, I would...
Read moreI drove 30 min to get here, it was on a Sunday morning. This place has been on my list of cafes to try and especially because I really wanted to try the coffee flights! I ordered the coffee flight which for the most part was delicious. It took me awhile to finish all the drinks. I just didn’t like one of them as much as the others but one con I didn’t like was even as I’m trying to finish my drink I was being rushed by one of the staff. She came twice to see if I was finished and the second time asked if I wanted a to go cup for my last drink. Clearly that was a hint to leave so I just declined and said she can just take everything back and got up and left. I really would like to come back and try more coffee flights but I also don’t wanna be rushed out either. Pro: coffee is delicious Con: lady...
