I've heard good reviews about this place, so I have been really wanting to try it. Well, after finally going.....Not impressed at all. We walked in to a very small crowd. Perhaps it's because it was a Tuesday evening. Anyway, we were sat in a booth, which was quite roomy. While we were looking over our menus, two guys came in and were sat in a booth next to us. After a few minutes, the waitress walked up to their booth and took their orders. What happened to us? Anyways, several minutes later our order was finally taken. We ordered an appetizer and a couple of different dishes. We sat there and waited...and waited...and waited....well, you get my point. The food took forever to come out. Our waitress told us the servings were huge and it would be plenty for both of us. Well I guess we have a different understanding of what huge is. We ordered the combination appetizer which was two pieces each of their appetizers. The chicken was dry, the veggie egg roll was good, the fried tofu was ok and the fish cake was decent, with a nice spicy taste. Our dinner had decent flavor. We had the Se-ew Udon noodles. These weren't bad. Good flavor, but nothing to make me want to order it again. The other item was a pork dish from their BBQ choices. This was the thinnest slices of pork I've ever seen and was only a couple of pieces each. My wife wanted a coffee, but our server said they don't offer it at that time, but they do have iced coffee. During our meal,, we never saw our server until we were done. At the end of our dinner, some guy came from the back and proceeded to make a pot of coffee. I guess it was for workers only. Oh well. The price wasn't bad. Our ticket was only $26. When we were leaving, we walked right past the waitress and the guy who made the pot of coffee. Normally we are used to the workers thanking the patrons when leaving. You know, "Thank you, please come again." That sort of thing. As we walked by them, they just carried on with their conversation and completely ignored us. That was definitely a first. My final thoughts? Price: Good Food: Okay Service: terrible Will we be back? Probably not

I made a mistake. When the food first hit the table, it was picture-perfect. I don't like photographing my food, but the plate screamed #ShootMe. I ignored it, and I regret it. This #bbqpork #friedrice is something special. There is an authenticity to the flavors that is endearing. I asked for #MediumHeat, and I thought I'd regret it after the first bite. However, the heat doesn't settle on your tongue. Instead, the heat travels into your heart and makes you want more. The plate in the foreground was all that was left when I pulled myself away from devouring to share. The use of bell peppers and onions as a bite of balancing sweetness created a #MelodyInMyMouth. The #FriedBasil oil permeates every grain and adds an unctuous #MouthFeel. The soloist of this song is the #BBQPork. She's a confident but understated alto. She stands #TenToesDown but, instead of belting, she sings these sweet, bold counter harmonies of charred #PalmSugar and soy. The #LeanPork has the perfect small bites of fat to excite the sense and keep the notes from being dry. This BBQ Pork Fried rice is a new song for me, one I want to enjoy forever. If you're in city of Fairfield, stop in and taste this #GoodCub3d #Approved.

What a cute little spot! Our second time here and we drove out from Vacaville specifically for Bintoh! It was just as good as the first time we ate here. I'm actually surprised they aren't as popular as they should be. Hopefully maybe a better location might do them more justice. In the mean time, it's a great getaway spot for Thai food when you're craving it. We got the Pra-Ram Chicken, Tom Yum, Kra-Pow, smoothie and tea and it was all delicious. We finished our plates, which we rarely do. The way they make their chicken for their dishes is very unique and doesn't taste greasy like the other thai places we've been too. Also, staff was so friendly and welcoming. We also got to try their promo salad which was amazing! I hope they add more items to their menu like more dessert options. Aside from that, they were awesome!

Bintoh is an absolute gem!

I have tried many of the things on the menu and I have never been disappointed! Today I stopped by and grabbed *the luscious Koon Fai Dang, one of their signature dishes with prawns and green beans in a lobster sauce, which has terrific texture and is a great combination of tastes. The prawns are very tender and it's a good deal, in my opinion. I have had this multiple times and it is very consistent and it's not something I recall seeing at other Thai places; not to say no one else makes it but it's pretty rare, I believe. *from the "Rice is Nice" section of the menu I tried a new one for me, the Bintoh Fried Rice, which is excellent! The creamy sauce is thoughtfully in a small portion cup so you add it when you are ready to eat, and it's totaly unique and crave-able by itself. The shredded chicken is plentiful, as well as the egg, with some fresh pineapple bits on the side that you can mix in, if you like. I thought leaving them on the side was a nice touch; again, a small thing but it shows thoughtfulness and respect for various palates. *also grabbed the hangover noodles, which are nice fat noodles, I think the udon wheat noodles, which are super delish and absorb the sauteed vegetables, shrimp, and chicken beautifully. I have asked for medium spice on this, but next time I think I'll pop it up to spicy, not "Thai spicy" though. *My favorite side order of peanut sauce, complex and flavorful and a great deal at 8 oz for $5.50, I add it to the various dishes or potstickers I have gotten in the past and it's wonderful!

I have also tried dishes like the crab friend rice, the Pra-Ram chicken, the Spicy Fried Catfish (with a curry sauce that reminds me of the lobster sauce), the Gai-Yang (chicken marinated in soy sauce, garlic, and Thai herbs and then charbroiled for that unique crunch ad topped with cabbage, carrots, and peanuts, with a sweet and sour sauce; KILLER!), and the potstickers. triangle tofu, and the Thai chicken wings. Each and every one of these has been tremendous. My only disappointment is that they have not had the Eight Element Wrap available as an appetizer a few times when I have asked for it, perhaps some ingredients are hard to source reliably or something, but maybe someday it'll re-emerge!

As I mentioned, I always get it to go when I am headed home on a weekend afternoon from Davis to Napa, but the inside of the place is cute and relaxed and I would have no opposition to staying. Another Yelp!er mentioned the lunch specials, which are quite a deal, and I hope people in the area can hit them up for these, except on the closed day of Wednesday! They deserve a break one day a week!

I've always had one of two people take my order on the phone and ring me up, and they have always been terrific; the orders are ready when they say they will be and are always packaged in study to go containers, stacked perfectly, and tied in a good-quality bag. My orders have always been right. Again, I know this sounds a bit granular, but getting your stuff home safely is part of the value, and they always show care in this important step, as well, which makes me feel valued and eager to go back!

Thank you, June and caring staff, for dishing up wonderful food at a reasonable price and making me into more of an adventurous Thai eater, and being confident anything I get is worthwhile.

p.s. there is a short YouTube made by the City of Fairfield that features Bintoh and will give you a sense of the place and June; that's a nice series done by the city that highlights some worthwhile small businesses, terrific idea and good production value to...
