As much as I like to support local business, this store is just way over-priced, to a point where the product and service has no relation to the value received. Trader Joe's has a decent basic cheese selection at a very good price, Whole Foods has an even more diverse cheese selection and at a great value. But I this store cheese simply costs at least twice as much as anywhere else. We bought a Raclette cheese for $35/pound, just to find a selection of one local and one imported Swiss Raclette cheese for $17 and $18/pound respectively at Whole Foods. Take the 3-sided rind off the cheese and it comes to $40/pound. They also sell some other delicatessen, such as the same Vermont Churned Butter for $15/pound that one can get at ShopRite for $8/pound. Or the Black Truffle Carpaccio, same manufacturer and label as the one Costco sells periodically, for $48 per jar vs. $20 at Costco, adjusted for Costco jar being almost twice as big. We sometimes buy Cheese right at the farm of Cato Corner Farms in Central CT, a great small cheese producer. They have that cheese too there at Cheese Company, but at a hefty markup. It's not like the products at Cheese Company are that special or rare. Just same cheese for...

Really disappointing as we were excited to try the sister location and love to support...

I left with a piece of Hooligan and a perfect piece of...
