Imogene Wilson at Alchemy, the Salon in Fairfield is truly a master of her craft! I’ve been to many salons over the years, but no one has ever been able to transform my hair like she has. From the moment I walked into Alchemy, the Salon, I knew I was in expert hands. Imogene has a unique ability to understand exactly what my hair needs, and she has completely revitalized it. My hair feels healthier than ever, with a softness and shine that I didn’t think was possible.

One of the things that truly sets Imogene apart is her talent for color. I’ve colored my hair for many years, but nothing compares to the way she seamlessly creates depth and dimension. Her eye for detail and precision is unmatched, and the compliments I receive on my hair have only increased since seeing her.

The atmosphere at Alchemy, The Salon is inviting and relaxed, and Imogene’s warm, professional demeanor always puts me at ease. I always leave feeling like the best version of myself. This is the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. I’ve been to all of the “in” salons in NYC over the past 15 years and I have never loved a haircut this much in my life. Not by a long shot. This is also the first place I’ve been since moving to CT where I’ve felt incredibly welcome & surrounded by chic women with good energy (and excellent taste). The questionnaire they email you beforehand deep dives into what you’re looking for in your cut and beyond. Everything about the process was so thoughtful and thorough that I didn’t even feel the need to even pay attention while Imogene was cutting (I was too happily engrossed in talking). I instantly trusted her. I left with a change to my look that I didn’t even know I needed—SO badly—and the cut ultimately also still checked all of my boxes! I have not felt this pretty or confident in a long time. As if all of this isn’t enough, your stylist will proactively check in with you to see if you need a hair tweak or styling tips. Ashley Colica is a hair color-correcting and highlighting master! Ashley color-corrected my daughter's very long, very thick blonde but Sun-In damaged hair to a beautiful baby blonde in one session without a hint of orange remaining. I was so wowed with her transformation (and Ashley's impressive Instagram account of her clients) that I also booked with her to highlight my much darker base. My daughter and I have been seeing Ashley for four months now and we are both so thrilled with Ashley's work. Ashley is professional, responsive, a great listener, engaging and fun.
