Went to Verizon to upgrade to the new IPhone 12 that had the $700 trade in allowance promotion. They took my phone, an XR which was working great and did the deal stating I would get the $700 trade in allowance over a period of time during the course of the year.
I waited for two statements of my bill to come in and the credit was not on there. So I called Verizon direct, and they told me I was only given an allowance of $168 for my phone. So then I’ll call the local Russel cellular store for a Verizon where I did the purchase and they told me I had to come into the store which I did. I got to the store and the girl pulled everything up on the computer my information and said she couldn’t figure out why they didn’t allow me to $700 so she called the manager over, named John who was very nice, who said for me to give it another month And if it didn’t show up on the statement then for me to come back in and he would help me. So yesterday I went back in the store and John tried to help me but after entering everything in the computer and researching it he said I was not eligible for the Promotion due to the type of unlimited plan I had. I told John that since the lady that help me was a Russel cellular employee they should take care of my issue and handle the mistake but he said he cannot do that so unfortunately I have to give a bad review for this Fairhope Russell Cellular...

I was met by a young lady named Crystal and was told to transfer all of my apps and information from one phone to a phone that I purchased through Walmart would be a small $25 fee. she started the transfer and told me it was going to take quite a while since I had so many text messages so I left her the phone. In the meantime she asked if there was something that I could delete and bring the phone back and I said yes took the phone home deleted hundreds of texts and brought the phone back and met with Jessica. Jessa was very warm and wanted to help me in any way she could. She proceeded to finish the transfer that Crystal it started that morning I highly recommend this store as the employees really seem to care thank you for realizing I'll be back I've been a customer for a million years and hopefully I'll be a customer for another million years as a matter of fact I think my account...
Read moreCrystal was the only sales associate in the store & was trying exceptionally hard to manage several people at one time. One elderly customer needed the bill code for the account because her phone had no service which was provided by a family member. Crystal went above & beyond attempting to reach the family member with the code twice, then on to the next family member. The family member that she reached was so rude to Crystal & she kindly told him that “she was trying to help his mom communicate with them so they would not worry.” He continued to the point that Crystal teared up & handed the phone to the elderly woman as she had tried to do several times during the conversation as she could not help her without the code.
