Sculpt & Flow with Emmalee @ Y6 Fairview Park

First of all, thank you for having a 6AM Monday, and Thursday class for us morning people, as we really appreciate it!!
Emmalee is a total sculpt warrior! ⨠She crafts the perfect warm-up to ignite your muscles before turning up the intensity.. and trust me, your body will thank you for the prep and the burn. The flow sequences are challenging but never impossible, and she cues them in a way that makes you feel powerful, not punished.
Her playlist? Flawlessly curated and loud!! THANK YOU!! with the kind of beats and vibe that keeps you pushing through your limit, then finding a new one. Fuel for the fire. đĽ
She also encourages modification throughout the class, which I really appreciate.. especially if you, say, sacrificed your knee cartilage to the CrossFit religion back in the day. (No shame. Weâve all been there.)
And as for the settingâY6âs dark studio is a game-changer. Thereâs something freeing and nice knowing that while I'm a sweaty, flat hair, matted to my face, mess, sometimes making those "please not one more squat" faces.. no one is the wiser!!
All in all? A killer class, led by a fantastic sculpting trainer who's passion drives a fantastic hour!! Iâll be back again (and...
Read moreThe classes are great and always a solid workout. I really enjoy them overall! That said, it would be helpful if more classes were added for sculpt and flowâespecially during the weekday daytimeâsince theyâre starting to feel overcrowded and have large waitlists.
The staff is mostly friendly, but the sales tactics can be way too aggressive. When I was on a class pack, I was approached repeatedlyâbefore class, during setup, and right afterâabout buying more sessions or signing up for specials. It happened four classes in a row, and it honestly became pretty frustrating. Itâs hard to stay in the right mindset for a workout when youâre constantly being pitched, especially when youâre just trying to cool down after class. People will buy classes when they are ready.
Working out the kinks of that, adding more classes and maybe adding more perks for unlimited pass members (like 2 free waives if you need to cancel, first dibs on classes, etc) would make the experience a lot better! Also $10 is kinda absurd if you get sick or something happens and...
Read moreI love YogaSix! Been practicing there since they opened. I love the Playlists, the friendships I have developed with the instructors and most of all the yoga. Challenging classes, with modifications if you need them. I love their "special" classes too! Haven't had an instructor I didn't like, but Heidi, Jon, Jessi and Jenna are at the top of my list. Heidi's Sunday morning class is a great start to the day and week. Her intentions and mantras take it a step above. Jon's Saturday morning 9 am class is awesome! He pushed just enough. Jessi and Jenna are so fun, they like to push you to your next level and are right there next to you working out hard too. Cassie's mobility class is a great change up and I feel it! I just love it! Instructors, owners, staff, and...
