I will never come back, my cats wouldn't even eat the food. I ordered eggs benedict and seafood crepe to go. On the phone I was told because of covid they are no longer providing plasticware or plastic bags but you're more than welcome to bring your own bag.....everywhere else is providing bags because they don't want you to bring your own, so the restaurant is just being cheap. When I got there to pick up my order all the food was on a tray, I don't know what I was expecting but if you're not bringing a bag or box why would you put individual containers of syrup on the seat or floor of your car. The employee must have saw me looking at the food then looking at the 'you can purchase a reusable bag' sign because when I asked for a plastic bag they gave me a reusable bag. The food was disgusting. The eggs benedict had the sauce on it not in a seperate container so it was soggy, and the eggs were scrambled not poached. The pancakes didn't taste right. I knew the seafood crepe wasn't going to be real crab but most places use real shrimp, they both were fake and chopped up so you couldn't pick anything out. I put the "fish" on my cats plate and they wouldn't eat it. Normally they're all over you for food, they wouldn't eat anything from the order. I could go anywhere in Lakewood, Gordon Square, Ohio City etc and get better quality home made food for the same price- instead I spent almost $27 and I threw the food away. The employees that took my order and checked me out were very...
Read moreI've recently visited the Original Pancakes house in Fairview, ohio. My waitress sarah was amazing, and she always is. We visit about twice a month because we love the pumpkin pancakes. Well not this time. I ordered the eggs with potatoes and 3 pumpkin cakes, they came out so dark brown, they were burnt. But because i work for a big pancake chain, and Im a server of 10 plus years, I didn't say anything. I kept them, until I ordered 3 blueberry pancakes with coconut to go. Sarah brought me my pancakes in a small box, so small that i thought it was toast. I opened the box and those pancakes were crunched up and burnt too. So sarah nicely took my plate back. A few seconds later the district manager came to my table with the same cakes that I had just sent back, with them in his hand. No gloves on, he touches my pancakes and flips through them to begin to tell me that they arent burnt that the cakes look burnt because of the fresh blueberry juice. His final question to me was " do you want these remade"? Are you serious? As you just fingered my food you're asking if I want them remade! Yes I do. I will not return. Once i received my remake, they were again in that small box but this time he made sure to make them small enough to fit. Horrible district...
Read moreOk. I haven't been here in over 3 years. This time, it was offal and disgusting. When we were sat down, the waitress grabbed three waters. One of the glasses was cracked. We didn't say anything though. Our waitress asked us if we wanted anything else besides water. I ordered apple juice and my parents both ordered coffee. The glasses that my dads coffee and my apple juice came in were quite dirty. My apple juice had black specks that were floating inside the juice. My dads coffee cup didn't have anything in the coffee, but on the coffee cup, there was white chunks of something. The waitress brought out warm syrup (my dad hates warm syrup), I believe they should give the customers an option if they want warm syrup, or cold syrup. The syrup also tasted watered down and gross. When our food came out, my moms pumpkin pancakes had a hair in it. My mom told our waitress and she took it off the bill. My mom didn't want another order of pancakes, so she ordered rye toast instead. The rye toast took forever to come out. But, my dad and I liked our food and the waitress was nice. But Overall, this experience for us was terrible. TOPH Needs to step up their game on service and how sanitary their...
