Scotties Pub — Restaurant in Fall River

I’m guessing they were short staffed which is odd considering employment is highly sought after but it took a good 10 min before I was helped after seating myself. The service was fast paced and I assume it’s because there was only one guy helping ~20 people. Anyways, I requested a dish but was told they were out of scallops so I picked something else and they were out of that as well so I picked a dish that was told was available. Once the order was placed, I notice 1 Individual walk in and sat and then a couple shortly after. They both placed their order. So 15 min in, the 3 that walked in after me were served their food. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting and was told 10 min. As I’m watching these people finish eating, I’m getting frustrated. My food finally came so I started eating. The dish was all over the place and rather dry. I was starving at that point so started to eat. Then I’m told it comes with 2 sides after about 5 min in. I ordered my sides. I ate about 1/4 of the dish when my sides arrived and because I was end happy with the meal I just ate the fries which were soggy but preferred over the main dish. When I finished the fries, I had left 3/4 of the dish and let the guy know that I wasn’t too happy with it and that I was done. He knocked off 10 percent but for a dish that was fairly expensive and barely eaten, I was displeased to say the least. Based on my experience, I would not go back to this place nor would I recommend it. The service alone felt rushed and if your fine with that then more power to you but not acceptable by my standards. First I'd like to start off on how I was scouring throughout Grub Hub trying to figure out what I felt like eating, mind you, it was like 7pm on Sunday night 01/07/24 and I figured out that I could go for a good ole burger w/ fries. I came across Scottie's Pub & the menu had so much good things that sounded so good! Then I came across the stuffed cod w/ seafood stuffing and decided to run with that. With an added loaded baked potato. Not realizing that Scottie's is in Fall River and I live in New Bedford and.... Forgetting that it was snowing at the same time, lol my delivery ran over an hour later than the set schedule. Well let me just say this.... It was very, very well worth the very late delivery & I thank the delivery driver so much for making this delivery happen considering the hike & snow fall!!! My 1st ever meal from Scottie's and I am now a huge fan & customer of this Pub. I will be ordering that dish again very soon and this time I'll be adding a vegetable & garlic bread to it;...

Absolutely disgusting. Lunch for two, we ordered a plate of loaded tots, two orders of bone in wings and a beer. The tots came out first and were hot and mostly crispy, no complaints. The Heineken I ordered was cold but tasted disgusting. BOTH orders of wings were under cooked and borderline raw. I bit into one and it was still cold so I cut into a few others and noticed they weren’t cooked. The other order was exactly the same.

We called the waitress over and showed her and explained that we were not going to eat this and get sick. I felt bad for her. She brought the order back and offered to bring us an order to take home. I said no thank you. Delhi brought over the check AND STILL CHARGED US FOR THE WINGS. I chose to tip this girl still and pay because it wasn’t her fault but I will NEVER go there again. I’m beside myself with them not comping both orders of wings. This place is all around garbage now, no clue what happened that it got this bad....
