Depot Casino — Local services in Fallon

After our car broke down traveling home, we had to stay in Fallon for two nights. While waiting for repairs we were on foot as Fallon cab service and Uber service are mostly based in Fernly or Carson City, which is reflected in their expensive rates. The evening bar tender (didn't catch her name) knew of someone who occasionally provided local Uber services. The bar tender messaged the Uber person, and we had a ride to the garage including our luggage, coolers etc. from our motel. The kindness she provided was awesome, helping strangers in a difficult situation!! Thank you evening bar tender...

We had breakfast, and my husband had chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. The steak was chewy, and the biscuits and gravy were served cold 👎, I had the corned beef and hash. It's not what I'd hoped for. It was out of a can, and I would never order it again 😪 the potatoes were tasty, and so were the pancakes 🥞 😋. The syrup is not something I would put on my pancakes. I love this place.... The workers are pretty awesome and friendly there is one lady who works the cage that is grumpy and throws your money at you like you're bothering her or something...
