Iāve been going to Family Fare about 3 times a week for 3 years. All of the sudden two employees have been harassing me every time I come in there. I always use the self checkout because Iām trying to get in and out. Their employees are too slow and they always forget to ask me if I have rewards so I use the self checkout. Thereās two older women who oversee the self checkout. One has asked to see my receipt the last three times Iāve seen her there. She thinks I didnāt scan all of my items even though I tell her EVERY time that I did. She checks my receipt then checks every item in my bags. Every single time sheās been wrong in thinking that I havenāt scanned all my items. This is so annoying and such a waste of my time. If that isnāt enough there is another older woman who literally hovers over me and makes sure that I scan every item even if there are other people in the self checkout she is only focused on me. This is also really annoying. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This is ridiculous. The other day I was in line for the self checkout and a man walked out with a whole cart full of groceries that he didnāt pay for. I went to scan my groceries and his balance of over $100 was still on the screen. I didnāt say anything because after the way their employees have treated me I think they deserve it. I asked if there was more zucchini in the back room because the shelf was empty, and lady at the deli struggled for 10-15 minutes to find somebody working produce to go and check, and in the end I stood around waiting just to be told they couldn't anyone who knew how to walk into the cooler and check if a case of zucchini was on the shelf in there. Wasn't sure why she couldn't just walk into the cooler and look herself but I guess the mentality was "not her department not her problem." I've also stood up at the service counter waiting for somebody to help me for very long periods of times and felt like employees were deliberately avoiding me, good place to shop but not great service. Assuming they just need to hire more people or else start cross training people in multiple departments so I don't have to hunt for an employee who works in a specific section after passing 5 others who say they can't help me because they don't work in that part...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDumpster fire of a store. The prices they post on the shelves are false advertising, what you will actually pay at checkout is about 30 - 40% higher unless you are part of their loyalty program, and even then the "savings" only lowers things to what the other stores in town start at.
Self checkout is a terrible experience, there's no where to set your items without them rolling off and the only reason to use it is because their cashier's are worse.
Cashier's can be heard complaining about politics and their jobs, Managers hide by the door complaining about customers.
The entire store is filthy and poorly maintained.
Oh, and they will kick people out for daring to have a backpack. Purse, reusable bag etc. Those are fine, but backpack "you can't have that" they treat people like potential thieves rather than customers or even human beings
