Where to Begin?
This Store has been slipping with their standards on Customer Service for quite a while. Since this summer the product quality has been hit or miss. Sometimes it comes hot and fresh and is delicious, and other times it tastes old and worn. Tastes like they baked an extra pepperoni and sausage pizza for a dinner rush and threw it into a warmer for an hour until some order a pepperoni and sausage pizza asap….. Their phone etiquette can be really terrible too. You often get a lot of "umms" and " dammm….hang on…. what was it?!…" It's not that a customer needs Sunday Manners when they call in for a pizza. However it'd be nice to talk to someone who's confident and semi-courteous in their job abilities….
Here's the killer. Last night, Wednesday, my family wanted a pizza, and some wings and pop. We called in. The phone rang and rang… finally they answered and were cordial and told us the order would be to our house in 30 to 45 minutes. Pretty standard delivery time. 55 minutes after initially ordering I called the store wondering where our pizza was. They told us the delivery boy was doing a double run and should be at our house in about 10 minutes….. 20 minutes later after calling the second I called a third time. I requested to cancel our order…. The manager was curt and understanding BUT I told her to please call the delivery boy, Robert. I said Please let him know that we won't be needing the pizza. The Manager echoed back and even wrote down the memoL "Call the Driver." Well…..20 minutes after THAT I got a phone call from Robert. Saying he had just made it to our house…. Sadly we were unavailable to receive him. And I told Robert that he was over 1 hour and 40 minutes late with our food….. Horrible service!
We called up Dominos on The North Fargo Side later. They got us our food in 25 minutes, and they have Coke Products which is nice considering 85% of the pizza places in Fargo only carry Pepsi. We won't be calling Pizza Hut anytime soon. It's kinda like Lord of The Flies over there: nothing but chaotic and primitive communication between the Management and Team Members. Maybe they'll shape up in another six months, but it's going to get worse before it...
Read moreHaven't had PH is a while and something on the pizza seemed a bit off. I had Italian sausage, pepperoni and mushroom on a hand-tossed crust with white sauce instead of red. I thought maybe the white sauce was throwing things off but I began to realize it seemed more like the cheese on the pie was different. Maybe I'm just more accustomed to higher quality cheeses but my overall experience was underwhelming. The crust was very flimsy and there were several holes on the bottom making half the pieces impossible to pick up. I'll have to remember to upgrade to the pan next time I order (about every 6 months).
The chicken pasta was bland and overdone, especially on the edges which were very dry while the breadsticks were underdone and very limp. I improvised a similar chicken alfredo pasta dish two days later with a jar sauce and it was much better so I think I've had the last of their baked pasta. The breadsticks were improved slightly when reheated as very long croutons (i.e., they were very hard).
The cheese breadsticks were also underdone and, again, the cheese was very disappointing in its flavor and texture. The red sauce with it was improved by mixing it with plastic-tubed parmesan in a 2-1 ratio.
I get PH's appeal for its price point and delivery convenience for college students, football Sunday's or a mid-week break from cooking for a family but I never get delivery and question why I would choose this to have once again let alone the three days of leftovers to follow.
Spicy Pie is still a favorite (when made as slices, as their whole pies are always limp and soggy) and affordable early in the week but when people ask me for pizza place suggestions I tell them I've never been disappointed...
Read moreI ordered food, never got it & was threatened by the staff there and was told no corporate number was available and some more stuff at the end of that was told to get tf out the store and me and my son almost jumped on! The GM and staff need to be fired and never to work at another Pizza Hut & really needs to be evaluated because how you beat me getting mad about my money that Pizza Hut took from me?! Anyways long story short I don’t have money to just give away in that case I would give it to my grandkids. I had an attitude because the bald one in the picture hung up the phone in my face! No need to hang up in my face nor answer the phone what do you want why are so many people calling this damn store. Called and spoke with someone above them and will be contacting a lawyer to see what can be done about this because it’s very disturbing to know that that’s who handles my food. Also when asking for a corporate number the number that she gave (the stores gm) she gave my son this yellow paper! That’s not a number. Instead of just giving me my money back. Will NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN....
