The shopping experience is wonderful! Jill (the owner) was always wonderful, helpful, and cheerful! The store is beautiful and there as so many amazing gowns to choose from for all ages and all sizes!

When my daughter went into the store to find out about a dress we had consigned through Formally Yours Jill wasn’t available so my daughter had to communicate with another employee. We consigned a $598 dress on 1-20-2020 for $450 and now think about what happened to our state/nation during the time this dress would be on a contract. Fast forward to my daughter going to the store to find out more information. My daughter was treated horrible. The employee wouldn’t answer her questions placed blame on my daughter and yes our contract had expired but the employee still could have shown their customer some respect & compassion. My daughter left crying! Ok I will take blame for not communicating with the store and talking about the dress sooner BUT there was absolutely no communication about the 5/21/20 contract end. The first time we consigned (just 1 year prior) a dress Jill actually called me and talked about the contract ending as we live 2.5 hours away from the store! This time NOTHING, NO email, NO call, NO FB message. And with everything going on with Covid-19 turning everyone’s lives upside down there should have been some compassion and some form of communication. By doing nothing says EVEN MORE. I’m guessing her business had probably suffered loss because of COVID 19 because our family suffered too. But treating my daughter with so little respect actually made it feel they stole from us!

I have waited to write this review because I think there should be a time to reflect prior to a negative review because it’s the right thing to do! But it still causes my daughter to tear up when we talk about this. Everyone is hurting financially I understand but that gives no one the right to treat a customer like their not worth the time, their future business, and referrals. We have consigned 2 dresses and we purchased one dress from Formally Yours...

I am so thrilled that we found Formally Yours! Let me just gush a bit about this place: -The store is much larger than it looks from the outside. I had practically two racks of wedding dresses to look at. (My budget was under $500) -We were in a private spacious dressing room. Beautiful and made me feel so comfortable. -Jill was unbelievably attentive and insightful. She came in to check the fits and sizes and would bring out more dresses that she thought matched the style and fit I was looking for. -Jill also made suggestions on alterations and what could/should be done professionally and what could be done maybe at home. -No pressure to buy! Jill was attentive but also let my mom and I alone to think. I really appreciated this because decisions can be stressful. (Usual dress appointments at most stores are usually 1 hr. We were there 2.5 hrs)

In the end, I did buy my dress. However, I’ve been to a couple of other shops and this service, expertise and prices far exceeded my expectations— especially the service!

Truly a hidden gem and they’re not limited to just...

After an online bridesmaid dress order went very wrong, I stopped in (actually by recommendation of another bridal shop in the area) looking for the impossible, 20 minutes before close, tired and defeated.

The attendant greeted me, asked my size (I wasn't sure after the debacle with the online purchase, but they helped me figure it out), what I needed, went RIGHT to the rack and handed me the perfect dress. I tried it on in their beautiful fitting room and got their opinions as well as my husband's. I loved it, they loved it, the BRIDE loves it, and my husband says I look "smokin'" in it!

They were also able to give me an incredible price for the dress I got. I received great customer service, professional advice on re-consigning (that is, if I can bring myself to part with it after the wedding!!), and again, worked their butts off for me at the very end of the day.
