OH MY GOODNESS, I would give Klaudia, the owner, 1000 stars if I could. Out of the four shops we visited to find my perfect wedding dress, Affairs was the best. First of all, Klaudia remembered me from when I would shop at a store she used to work at years ago, and I was so impressed by her memory and passion for customer service! It was fun seeing a familiar face :) next, her and the other consultant Mandy greeted us and told us how excited they were to have us there with them! She let us look around and pick some dresses out. She pulled a few she personally felt would be great on me. She helped me get into the dresses by setting them on the floor and creating a hole for me to step into, whereas all the other stores I had to take the dress out of the bags myself and all that. Klaudia was SO FAST and zipping, clipping, and clamping. The store itself is absolutely gorgeous and so were all the dresses I tried. Klaudia’s personality completely shines and it is evident that BRIDES are her passion, no doubt about it. I found my perfect dress and we tried it on a second time. I had 2 more stores to visit so I didn’t want to commit yet. She offered to hold the dress but I decided to just come back if I didn’t find one that compared. She gave me her phone number and once I decided they was THE dress, she actually had Mandy come back to meet me at the store AFTER THEY CLOSED to let me buy it and take it home. I was totally over the moon at their customer service and their passion for bridal gowns. Mandy told me she absolutely loves working there and loves working for Klaudia, and it shows. I am not one to leave bad reviews but I feel my story needs to be shared. I bought my dress here back in January. I made an appointment to have the store to ourselves with my mom and sisters and an associate. That was true until about the last 15 min that we were there when I was actually deciding on my dress. I felt this took away from my time and didn't allow them to help me to the fullest. I bought my dress and had it bagged and the process moved very quickly. I left the dress in the bag until I brought it to alterations. When I put the dress on, the seamstress pointed out multiple stains on the dress. Being I DID NOT touch the dress between purchasing it and getting it altered, the stains came from the store. I called affairs by Brittany and asked how I can get it cleaned. She told me this... Stains can happen at the store. If they are noticed at the store, she will send the dress to get cleaned. If she notices them while someone is trying the dress on, she will let them know before purchasing and offer to pay 50% of the cleaning. So what if she sells me a dress and doesn't notice it is stained? And was also preoccupied with other customers while I was buying the dress. I never would of thought I needed to check a new dress for stains before buying it. Needless to say, we had to pay $100 extra dollars to get a new dress cleaned just days before my wedding and i did not get my dress back until the day before my wedding. Those stains caused us so much stress and extra money I do not think we should have had to pay. The selection is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the whole vibe of the boutique makes you feel pampered.
