Zilli Furniture — Local services in Farmers Branch

I never post any reviews on the internet but I have to put one down for this one. If I could put a negative 10 review, I would. I am closing on my first home and was out looking for furnitures to furnish some of the rooms. I only like Italian furnitures for their high quality, and understand the cost is not going to be small. I stumbled upon Zilli and wanted to check them out because they looked nice on google photos. But upon arrival, no one seemed to care to guide or greet me, which seemed very odd. There were items that did not have price tags, so I inquired one of the staff - he could have been the manager or the owner, I’m not sure. But I don’t care. It was absolutely the most horrendous customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Period. He reluctantly asked another employee for the price ranges on the tag-missing items. And when I asked if these pieces came in different colors, he literally yelled at me, in front of other employees AND customers. He was very angry at this one single question, screaming “why would you want to change the color? If you don’t like the style or the color, don’t buy them” and stormed away. Any well-mannered people would know you shouldn’t talk to anyone that way, let alone a buying customer. What kind of place runs their business like this?! So I left the store, and went to Bova down the block, which also sells very high end Italian furnitures. When I was done with Bova, making a $20,000 purchase worth of furnitures, I left a very happy customer. The salesmen there were professional, courteous and knowledgeable on their products. And guess what? Bova’s furnitures come in a wide range of colors and styles! I highly recommend going to Bova for their great customer service and extraordinarily high quality products, and ditching this hellish place called Zilli.

EDIT: just for those who read my review up to this point, I was the first to ever review this store, despite I think having been in business for a while. Then all of a sudden after my review, there are now two new 5-star reviews, one at 2AM and one before the store even opens, right after mine. Excellent Customer Service. We had been looking for a Formal Dinning table for a long time. We visited quite a few places but nothing different. Visiting Zilli was one of the best experience. We had Ivan helping us from the beginning. He understood what we wanted and would regularly send us pictures of anything that he thought we would like and would always take out time in the showroom also to answer all our questions.
