If there was an option for 0 starts then I'd go with that option but unfortunately there isn't. This review goes to BestBuy in general weather it be Corporate or their credit card affiliates such as Citi Bank coming from a Loyal & Disappointed ex - customer. I've purchased my TV, Washer and Dryer, Laptop Apple Watches and electronics from BESTBUY. Last Year around June 2023 I submitted a claim for unrecognized/fraudulent charges I had noticed on my statement on my Best Buy credit card. My card had been stolen & I did Not make these charges that I was being charged for that totaled up to maybe $100 maybe even less . Ever since then I received a new card and I have NOT used it ever since , I told myself I'd use it until the claim was resolved. Half a Year later the claim is still open and unresolved despite the various letters sent to me via mail falsely claiming the claim has been resolved and it is closed. I've received many harassing phone calls from Best Buy trying to collect for charges I did Not make, my account was first reduced from a $3,000 credit limit to $300, they also already took it upon themselves to close my account due to non-payment and they still keep adding interest to my account knowing that there is a claim still pending. Since I initiated this claim with BestBuy my credit score has decreased by 100 points because of this claim being delinquent , this is amongst the many things that infuriate me the lack of attention and care Best Buy and Citi Bank both have for their customers. I have to constantly keep reaching out to Best Buy and Citi bank to inquire the status of my claim and I always get the same old run down excuse of " its under Investigation" or " we are working on it" I am so tired and fed up with this claim and Best Buy and Citi Bank . My credit score went to crap, my BestBuy account was closed, the charges that were made were initially for about maybe $100 not even maybe less now my account has been ran up to about almost $300 due to all the interest / late fee charges and still ZERO solutions and I am the one chasing after both these companies trying to get an answer half a year later and still NOTHING I did not know that a fraud claim for less than $100 would take more than half a year and cause all these issues I don't know what else to do or who else to reach out to because no one gives me answers and there is no solution. I was always a loyal customer , always paid on time and went to Best Buy for all my needs. It is very disappointing that as a customer I have to be going through this the fact that I have to be calling constantly for answers and always get the run around it Ridiculous!!! I am making this review on here to warn future consumers and customers because my next step is to reach out to the BBB because this is ridiculous and...
Read moreThis location has the worst customer care and customer service of any location I've visited.
During this latest visit, I placed an online order. My online shopping experience was excellent. The issue arose once I went to the store to pickup the item. I was standing in line behind another person and we were both being held up by an employee who was socializing with someone who appeared to be a friend and not a customer. She had no interest in moving her conversation along to assist us.
At one point, the manager (tall, blonde female) came out from what I assume is an office, saw us waiting, offered no help and went back into the office.
Another employee walked behind the sales counter to help another customer that was waiting away from the counter. That customer walked out of the store, but the employee never acknowledged us and continued tapping away at the computer. I asked if he'd be willing to assist us since the customer he was helping walked away. He explained that he was still helping someone. I said, "I understand but that someone you're helping isn't here at the moment, so could you help one of us?" He ignored me and eventually walked away.
After I spoke up, the person who was socializing with the employee decided he would step aside so she could DO HER JOB. She helped the person in front of me and when she concluded with him, I stepped up to the counter, told her I had a pickup, showed her the email. After she retrieved the item I purchased, I asked for a receipt. She told me, "...you placed your order online, so I can't give you a receipt...". I asked, "So you're unable to print me a receipt?" With a smug look on her face, she repeated that since I made the purchase online, she was unable to give me an actual receipt. Rather than ask for a manager, I left the store.
On a previous trip to the store (6/28), my family and I waited in a much longer line. There were probably at least 15 to 20 people waiting in line. The SAME manager was walking around but never asked one of the many employees walking around to get on an open register. There were several employees working on the floor but not one of them did anything to help those of us waiting in the long line. As the line started to get longer, the manager FINALLY opened another register and got on it herself and started assisting customers.
This is a poorly run location with a poorly trained staff. They don't care anything about the customer experience and the manager couldn't care less. She leads poorly and they...
Read moreWe went here to buy a washer and dryer, but did not end up purchasing. The store is very bare, as many have mentioned, but no different than a typical appliance outlet/scratch and dent type of place. Not much assistance but when we asked for help a gentleman told us that the items have their full manufacturers warranty.
When we picked out a washer and dryer we were told no returns. If it doesn't fit the space or we just don't like it, we can't return it. My wife asked to verify that if it arrived DOA, it would be returnable and we were told by the female associate that yes, it would be, within 14 days. My wife then said "and if it breaks after the 14 days I call the manufacturer since it still has a warranty, right?" The lady replied No, that the manufacturer does not have to honor the warranty because the item had been owned before. We pointed out that someone else had told us differently earlier and she just shrugged, didn't seem to care. She got the assistant manager who plopped down the warranty text in the manual and pointed out where it says "warranty applies only to original owner".
She said they can choose to honor the warranty or they can choose not to. That is too big a risk to take for us, so we went elsewhere, especially since brand new through the best buy website they were selling for only $90 more.
While we were there a family member found a laptop he wanted, but declined to purchase as well, out of concern about the warranty. He went next door to the main store with new items and found it for $15 CHEAPER on sale there.
Yes, their prices are good when compared to full MSRP, but don't assume that is the actual price it is being sold at in the "brand new" stores. With sales at the "new" stores and the fact that you pay for delivery from the outlet instead of free like it often is at the "new" locations, you may not save nearly as much as you expect. And, no matter what they tell you, the manufacturer may choose not to honor the warranty.
Next door at the regular Best Buy we were told that happens all the time, that customers come over after finding out the warranty...
