Went into the store looking for a brand of towels advertised on sale. I have purchased towels online in the past from JCP, but the quality wasn't exactly what I expected, so I wanted to check them out before ordering them. Unfortunately, the selection was very low in the store, so I ended up purchasing bedding and hair care products from the salon. The only register with someone working at it was in the front of the store. The line had 1 cashier and about 8 customers in line. I was parked in the back, so I went back to the salon register to see if I could check out there. No one was working there, but a young lady asked me if I needed any help. I asked if I could check out there, and she informed me that they did not have anyone to work the register. I think she realized what I was thinking. I was going to put the stuff back and leave as I was parked in the back. She then told me that she would check me out. I was very much appreciative and thanked her multiple times, but I would like to say big kudos to her for thinking of the big picture instead of herself. Read moreAfter having called the jewelry desk to get information. I was met with an extremely combative employee. I asked about my lifetime warranty and she said that the plan did not replace something missing. Although it says exactly that on the paperwork. I called corporate and I let them know my home was hit by a tornado and then set on fire, melting most of my jewelry together or it being completely missing. They asked me to send back what I thought was the ring and they will either repair or replace it. But I’m more concerned with the rude and obnoxious employees at the Farmington jewelry counter. I will make sure to not spend another dollar at the Farmington JcPenny, the employees may need to think twice about how they speak to their customers especially with JcPenny being on the verge of bankruptcy and already closing a few stores. Wouldn’t recommend paying for any extra warranty plans, it’s a waste of money and they will do their best to not have to fix or pay you for the item. Read moreThe store is not organized clothing everywhere, sizes all mixed up, fitting room is disastrous with cloths laying all over, hangers and needles and stamples on the floor just a mess. 2/2/21 It's really to bad how Penny's has sunk to a low level of customer service with the number of unemployed people in this town this store is operating with such a low level of help there's only one register open in front of the store all others have one employee and a sign to go up front, even the salon no help to pay for items tell you to take it to front because they don't have assistant to ring things up. Most workers are not friendly or co operative in any way. Really a shame to see this store today knowing what it once was....
