Came in to the store with my wife as she was shopping for some shirts and had one of the employees that work there (Chubby bearded receding hairline man) looking through our bags. We had shopped previously from stores before so we had bags. My wife is Native American (Navajo). He simply says to us "There was missing items in the back" as it seems like he was blaming her for stealing. I'm white (Caucasian) and he was never looking in my bags at all just hers. She felt uncomfortable and kept saying to me that she wanted to leave. Finally my wife mentioned to him that she feels uncomfortable. He never stopped and continues to watch her like a hawk throughout the WHOLE STORE!!!!! This felt as if it was discrimination and racist of him. I'm a security guard (Level 3) that works in Albuquerque, NM where there is diversity there as well. And lots of it. But I have never watched or made someone uncomfortable like that in my entire 5 years of my career. I went in to do a return for an online purchase and was told that they donât do returns which isnât true and I knew that because my item came with a paper with the return policy on it. After showing them that paper and still being told the same thing I said I would be double checking with customer service. Customer service has to end up calling the store and had them do the return, they also told customer service that the only reason they said that was because I was being hostile when all I was doing was questioning why they canât do the return when their policy states otherwise
Also if you go to do a return and they say they only do exchanges and store credit thatâs BSâŚ.. that only applies to items that were purchased with cash or store credit because they donât do cash returns, however if you pay with a credit or debit card they can put it back on your card if you run into the same problem I did just...

Went into the store for a simple return and turned into me calling customer service and him calling his boss (distract manager) . I paid using my debit card (visa) and the manger stated I could only get my money back on store credit or exchange the item I bought a day ago prior. And I asked why and he stated âwe donât take returns that where bought w/ visa MCâ so I researched the policy and as stated For purchases made with a credit card or a debit card bearing a Visa/MC logo a credit will be issued to the card used for the original purchase. The managers are reading the return policy wrong and sharing misinformation.
