Went into ATT on Skibo in Fayetteville NC to preorder the iPhone 14 pro max 1TB. Waited for 45 min to be assisted, which was assumed because of the new iPhone release. System was backed up due to the fact all the preordering happening. Understandable. Got through on my phone, but needed to verify my ID even though it was through MY account. This unfair to people who don’t have a passport nor ID because they never needed one or they are in the military and they have a military ID. That military ID doesn’t work because myself is in the military and tried. Though they say it’s equal opportunity and secure, but it’s just a hassle and inconvenience when you are already verified through an account. Upon being denial of verification, I called ATT and was on a wait. Again was understandable. I received a called back from a representative. The language barrier was horrible and could not understand her. I was continuously asking her to repeat herself. Therefore I had to respectfully end the call because I didn’t want anything ordered that was not wanted accidentally. So I went back into the store on Skibo. A blonde curly haired associate with a blue mask greeted me as to protocol. I explained the situation. She responded that they couldn’t use my military ID as a form of ID. Which that was a lie because in order to get the phone that I have now I used my military ID. Then I asked if there was any other way to check identification or another way to complete the order. She told me no as if she was clueless or lazy to get someone who did know. Due to an appointment I had to leave and returned there after. I was greeted by the same associate. I gave my information and waited again. Luckily I was given the same associate I had the first time, Roman. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Roman came through and was able to complete my order WITH my military ID. The manager that came over to check up on us was also polite and helpful. Most military members try to be nice at all cost. We work long stressful hours for the the people of the US and the country. Not to be misinformed nor neglected. Thanks to Roman this rating was a 5 star and not 1 star. He saved this review and emotional well-being...
Read moreIf I could give no stars I would and its sad because I was there the day prior and had no problem with the staff. Everyone was nice, friendly and willing to help. However, today it was a completely different story. I switched from Verizon to AT&T a couple of weeks back and before I came in today I called and asked if my trade in phone could be handled there instead of shipping it and was told that it could. Upon entering the store the store Supervisor, Swan, greeted us and I told him what I wanted to do to. He probably didn't understand what I wanted to do and instead immediately began talking about something that had nothing to do with the reason I was there. My phone wasn't charged so I had to plug it in for a couple of mins so I could turn it on yet he didn't even bother putting me on the list or ask for my information. The phone charged and turned on within 2 mins to get the information necessary and I alerted him to which he basically shrugged me off and continued ignoring me. By that time, I had been waiting for 30 minutes and he had put 4 people ahead of me in line so I asked him if he was going to take care of my issue and he then proceeded to tell me that he would put me on the list. When he knew that I should've been on the list from the get go! When I told him I had been waiting for 30 mins already he basically called me a liar and said that it hadn't been that long and that he was "going to do me a favor and take care of it himself". He is extremely unprofessional and rude. Someone with that type of attitude should not be in charge. I ended up leaving the store without my problem being resolved because he had the nerve to act like he did nothing wrong and sarcastically repeat: You're right. My friend was actually going to switch from verizon and AT&T and after that exchange, she changed her mind. He made an easy process, complicated...
Read moreZero. Worst att location every visited. Waited an 1hr 15 min before a person that was standing around doing nothing didn't see them help not 1 person during this time i sat here and finally says they will help after they were "watching the door" when there was a check in guy and another girl already "watching the door". People waited longer to be helped and employees were just standing around. Why be here if you are not able to help your 12 customers that were waiting over an hour (my name was number 4 when I checked with no one behind me and there was 14 new names on the screen after me while I waited this hour). There is no one in charge here, no structure to handle customers and no organization. Ridiculous and the wait not worth it. Did a start service online and pick up phone on store- they act like they didn't even have it on file and my boost number that is still active to this day "pulled from use" , and you think im going sit here another hour for you to call 1800? Then something about my application and rerun my app and that it expired.when I have a confirmation I did online that everything is good just pay and pick up in store. came in before 7 and didn't get help till after 8pm. I need to know how much my bill is generally and what I'm paying for and I was not went over with- i asked and then was told a vague estimate. I thinking billing is important. You customer service is mediocre, no one wowed, no one checked on customers. Bunch walking around literally doing nothing as if your customers have all NIGHT to sit here. I was not updated or anything during the whole entire stay here until after the 1hr15min when some came over. I will not recommend this location. Very unsatisfied. I did not want...
