BEFORE YOU EVEN PURCHASE CONSIDER GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR BETTER SERVICES WITH CHEAPER PRICES. I want to start off by stating Holly was amazing! She listened to us, heard our problems with our sleeping and was able to find a mattress that we were able to both enjoy. With me being a soft bed kinda gal and him being a firm bed it felt like we would have to get a split bed but she somehow found one for us. As well helped us get a great deal without breaking our banks!!
NOW I want to post the horrors we are dealing with AFTER PURCHASING! First, Javier put a hole in our wall during delivery service and told us to LIE for him and not say anything and promised us he would come fix the hole because he didn't want them to comp the money out of his check. Two days go by and he never showed and he again lied saying "my boss is gonna come by and fix it and he will call you". That same day I called Ashleys and informed them 1. theres a hole in our wall, 2. they dragged the furniture on our top step leaving cardboard and plastic stuck in our railings (leaving us to clean there mess) and 3. the bed was built wrong. The movers decided to place the middle beam under the right side of the bed (this left one side of the mattress higher than the left side causing severe problems). Both me and my partner have health conditions so we paid over $5,000 for this bed so we didn't have issues. We could even sleep in our bed and even after MULTIPLE attempts to try to fix it it still isn't fixed. I contacted Barbara in one of their departments and she stated she would try to help by putting in claims to fixing the bed and ordering the parts Javier didn't place in the bed (that were crucial to the middle beam). After a Second team came out they finally removed the unecessary beam from the right side of the bed and informed us "we still have to wait for the parts to screw the middle beam where it needs to go". Then after getting back and forthed by Dominque I finally got transferred to the manager Mary. Mary seems like she is trying to help but after 3 attempts of this bed still not being fixed properly, still unable to sleep in our bed, still in severe pain whenever we do sleep in the bed due to no middle beam, we just are so sick and tired of the customer service we are dealing with so we are trying to get rid of the whole bed at this point. Today I got Lauren on the phone. In all after expressing I shouldn't talk to her because I didn't want to drag her into something she doesn't know about she still insisted I speak with her. I explained how frustrated I am because this is the third time the movers come to fix the bed and I get told I don't even have the right parts for this bed. She then proceeds to tell me I have 3 separate part orders coming to my house to fix my bed and I got a message stating it'll take 2 weeks to receive these parts. Then proceeds to tell me no returns can be issued and in all tells me all they can do is fix it. Obviously they can't because it has taken a month and I am now having to pay money. I even called to confirm everything was setup for this third party company to fix the damages to my wall and they confirmed. Tell me why when I called the company they told me Ashley's never set a claim so I had to be the one to place the claim. This whole drama has left us frustrated, angry, and extremely disappointed in Ashley's furniture's services. We are now contacting lawyers to sue them for the bed never being properly made in the first, second, or third time, and now us having such severe flair ups thanks to their first mistake. DO NOT SHOP here unless you build everything yourself! After a month, I am still waiting for parts to try AGAIN to fix my bed and from the looks of it I will have to wait till October to sleep in a bed I received in August. As well, they are telling me for compensation I have to wait until the bed is fixed which feels like will never come. The showroom seems all amazing but their internal customer service doesn't feel like they care and will keep coming up with something to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCourtney Rising was wonderfully helpful. I was not followed or harassed as I walked through the store checking out furniture. This was the most relaxing furniture shopping I have ever experienced. The shopping experience far exceeded the delivery experience. My first delivery arrived with incorrect items, was missing half the furniture and all the hardware to assemble the dining room table. Fortunately the delivery team had spare bolts and pieces in their vehicle and was able to find enough to put it together. They didn't bother taking the incorrect items off the truck because it was obvious the sofa was brown while the loveseat and recliner were gray and the dresser didn't match the rest of the bedroom set. Somehow I got a headboard and nothing else for the bed. 5 stars for those guys, I feel bad that the warehouse and store are the ones who screw up orders and the delivery team is the one who makes first contact with the customer and identifies the problems. This is where I found out iems were entered in the system incorrectly when I initially ordered them and no one caught the error. My second delivery was actually so much worse than the first. Was still missing furniture and the delivery team had no idea why it wasn't included. The correct model dresser arrived with a hole in the side big enough to fit my head in and the coffee table arrived with damaged hardware. I did receive the remaining pieces of my bed. When we called the Ashley customer service to discuss the broken items they wanted to discount the dresser and send a worker to fix the coffee table. I told them neither were ok with me and they took back the damaged items promising to get everything together on the next shipment. They always say call the next day after 2pm to figure out the next delivery when they have mistakes so I called to schedule delivery and ensure I would get all items together so I would stop leaving work for numerous deliveries. After 15 mins we found a good date that worked for my schedule and guaranteed all items would be delivered. Jan 1, 2020. Be home between 0800 and 1100. Fast forward to Dec 30th and I get off work to hear a voicemail from Ashley, 3 of the 6 remaining items are on delayed from the manufacturer. Shift in my delivery time. Now be available from noon to 3pm. Surprisingly I did not receive damaged or incorrect items for this delivery. The company then called and left a voicemail stating my bedroom furniture would be delivered Jan 10th. I never agreed to this date, I am busy with work, but if I'm unavailable to receive the items between 8 and 11 I will be charged a reschedule delivery charge. In my haste to just receive the final items on Jan 10th and be done with Ashley furniture once and for all I overlooked a crack that the movers caused in the dresser. When I called the store requesting the item be replaced they said no, use your warranty plan. When I called the warranty plan number the gentleman said the only things covered were damages caused by me, not the movers. Any repair would be an out of pocket expense. How is this business in operation with these unprofessional practices? I can't fathom how they can screw up so badly so often. I ordered and paid for everything at the beginning of November. I wish I had saved my money and gone elsewhere. I spent almost 9K to furnish my house and while I love my furniture I despise everything else about this company. Absolutely not worth shopping here. Highly recommend taking your business to a company that respects your time and can properly conduct quality assurance prior to sending...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a great experience initially working with Dustin during the purchase process at Ashley Furniture. As a first-time home buyer, he made the process pleasant and was very understanding, which I truly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the good experience ended there.
When the bed was delivered, it was not what I hoped for at all. I had only seen photos online and in the store, as there was no floor model available and no description about the bed having a 1-inch gap on all sides. Even Dustin, the salesperson, was unaware of this issue and didn't mention the need for a bunkie board. Instead, I purchased a foundation that does not pair well with this bed, causing my mattress to sit way too high, making it both uncomfortable and visually unappealing. I reached out to Ashley Furniture customer service, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. There was no empathy or effort to understand my concerns or help resolve the issue. I even provided photos and video to show exactly how the bed looks in my space, but I received no assistance. One representative from South Carolina simply told me the bed is supposed to have a 1-inch gap and gave me a number to call if I had more questions. That was it. If that gap is part of the design, it should have been made clear in the product description or by the sales staff. I would have never purchased this bed if I had known. Now Iām left with a pricey bed that Iām deeply unhappy with in my very first home, a moment that should have been exciting but instead feels disappointing. I will not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone at any location. The lack of transparency and poor customer service made what should have been a joyful purchase feel like a...
