Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I ordered to take away... The food at Chipotle tastes great. However I have three observations. Chipotle prides itself on effectively being a healthy food restaurant. There are three reasons why one could disagree. The first reason is because of the high consumption of sodium in the food (according to my experience ) High sodium intake is a cause of poor cardiovascular health and that's not healthy.

The second reason is because of the improper use of PPE that will ultimately spread germs, adding to the rise of the COVID 19 pandemic. This too is unhealthy. This can't be good no matter how tasty the meal may be. The more the virus spreads the more fatalities will occur and the more shops will close down and the more unemployment rates will rise. Before we know it we will experience a pandemic on multiple levels.

The third reason is because the customers are rushed through the line and mistakes are made with their orders because they were not heard and emotions run high. Now the third reason I must admit is somewhat debatable. But here's the takeaway.. great customer service is dependent upon great listening skills. Really great listening skills are essential to great communication btw us which is what this world needs to begin to heal from the dis-ease we are all experiencing. I I visited the restaurant primarily because my youngest wanted to enjoy the free guacamole available on their birthday. I ordered two kids' taco meals for my children. Upon receiving the order, I noticed that the server had picked up the taco container without it being properly sealed with plastic wrap. I hoped it wouldn't be an issue. Once we were in the car and my kids took their first bites, it was clear something was off; the tacos had the stale taste of chips that had been left out too long.

I returned to the restaurant to address this with a staff member. However, instead of understanding my concerns, she insisted that I was mistaken and began explaining how the tacos were prepared. I've been a loyal Chipotle customer since before 2008, so I know how fresh tacos are supposed to taste, and these did not meet those standards. Frustrated, I let her know they tasted old, but she simply walked away from me. In response, I ended up tossing the food into the trash can next to the register and chose to leave.

I called corporate and received confirmation that a refund is being issued, but I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with the significant decline in food quality here. While the staff handling the orders were courteous, the person in charge could greatly benefit from further training. With my extensive experience in the food industry, it was disappointing to be dismissed and shown a different container of tacos instead of having my concerns...

So first I encountered getting my food and when I got home the rice was very under cooked hard I just threw my food away and when I called to let the manager know she tell me to call a number to get my money back instead she could have re made my order when it was convenient for me because chipotle is in Fayetteville I live in Lumberton. Second encounter my daughter wanted chipotle because she had a gift card and the fact I ordered 2 chicken bowls I get home and realize on the receipt she charged me for steak and of course steak cost more so now I was over charged for my food because they both were clearly chicken. Ok so what it’s like $2 right. How you can’t see a C written on both aluminum tops and you charge me for steak. I didn’t want anything from there it was my kids and it may be a while before I go again because maybe they just don’t care. The lady with the scar face don’t smile don’t say nothing and when she was typing in the gift card I asked did it go through and she did not reply with a single word I just so happen to see the screen and she hands me my card don’t say thanks, have a good night, enjoy your food, see you next time NOTHING!!! just standing there with the angry scar face.
