I’ll start off by saying two little kids shouldn’t have been in there without a parent but seeing two kids wanting to trade in at least 10 very current switch games for the new Pokémon game and be absolutely swindled by the clerk was gross. He clearly knew what they wanted to do and so when they thought they had traded for the game and had money left over he definitely had no right to scream at them that they were taking the game without paying. Then, a customer stands up for children being berated and is met with the clerk saying it wasn’t his job to cater to what they wanted. It’s a customer service job. That’s the definition of your job. GameStop is notorious for undervaluing trade ins but he definitely gave them less than they deserved and when they realized it wasn’t enough he wouldn’t allow them to back out of the trade. Disgusting behavior. Instead of catering to a new generation of gamers you’ll only get treated fairly if you’re a stereotypical sweaty gamer. It’s time for GameStop to finally go out...
Read moreHonestly, it is pointless going to a brick and mortar store for games anymore after the ps4 and this location proves why. #1, the used games are just 5 dollars less than the new game. #2, I bought a preowned game, and it was covered in scratches, that somehow the cashier missed. #3, the warranty I bought for it, couldn't be fulfilled at that location, instead I just forked over 5 whole dollars and got the brand new one. #4, how is it new, when you opened the game, then put smudges on the brand new disk.
I was able to finally get the game rolling after taking my microfiber cloth and rubbing the fingerprints on it. What a complete and total WASTE of money, I could have simply bought the game from psn and would have had a game that if scratched could be simply be redownloaded, lower prices, and better business ethics than anyone buying a game, selling it for 200% then put a base warranty on the disk, then not even be able...
Read moreDaniel customer service person at the Fayetteville, Ga store. Went so above and beyond for me. I was having problems connecting two monitors. Because of the cables that I had. Not only did he help look up for me to where to get the proper cables. Because they were out of them at the Fayetteville Georgia GameStop location. He told me how to get everything set up and bypass the initial VGA to VGA cable. He’s such a wonderful young man. To take 15 to 20 minutes of his time. . To ensure that I had everything that I needed and to get my equipment up and running. He is a fine example of great great customer service. I cannot express how much it meant to me on the help I received from him. I reached out to at least eight other places either on the phone or going to their stores and no one seem to care. But Daniel absolutely number one. Plus he really...
