Last night I ate here with my family, and I was less than impressed. As Fayetteville residents we have eaten here for many years. When we walked in and went to the host counter the manager Terry is standing there looking down at what I'm guessing is the table seating chart. We stood there for about 5 minutes being ignored until my mother finally calls his name. He looks up annoyed and answered " Yes?". I informed him we needed a table for 5. He lets me know the wait will be 30-45minutes. I take a moment to confirm everyone was willing to wait. I let Terry know we will wait to which he responds " It is 7:30 on a Saturday night the wait is usually 1-2 hours." I'm not sure why he felt the need to say this. The whole time I am looking behind him to all of the empty tables ( the got seated at that exact table) behind him. A total of 7 minutes later we get the text alert that our table is ready. When we come in Terry is back at the host counter. The hostess lets me know she needs just another minute to get us seated. Terry turns to another hostess and asks "what's going on with them right here?" Referring to us standing and waiting. She informs him that we were alerted our table is ready. I'm not sure why he is so confused since he was constantly looking at the seating chart. The service once we sat down was nothing to brag about. We had no drink refills the entire time, and were missing a side order. My husband and I ordered margaritas that came to us in regular drinking glasses with no salt. We had to request margarita glasses with salt. Our waiter told us he didn't know we wanted salt ( he did not ask) and he would go ask because they don't salt the cups our margaritas came in. Im not sure why they came in those cups to begin with, and funny enough the table across from us received their margaritas in those same regular drinking cups with salt on the rim... Sadly it seems the business is slipping, and clearly management needs a lot of work.

My mom and I decided to surprise my dad with a 75th Birthday Party. La Parilla is his favorite restaurant therefore we knew we couldn’t go wrong with the food/catering. Not only were we correct choosing La Parilla, we were blown away by the kindness and hospitality by La Parilla (Fayetteville, Ga.) General Manager Marley Parra, Chef Jose Parra and the Staff. Upon meeting Marley, we immediately connected like family with laughter and hugs. Marley’s planning skills and delivery were above exemplary. She was extremely patient during the process, taking the time to listen, understanding our plans, while providing options which will best serve our party needs. Marley and Chef Parra, delivered the food, set it up at the house, provided all the utensils, paper plates, and napkins. Chef Parra really displayed his culinary skills!!! La Parilla food never fails, but the food was EXTRA DELCIOUS at our event. He ensured the food was plentiful, fresh, and piping hot upon delivery! We order the bowl catering option, and two platters for twenty-six people. Our guest ate until their hearts desired, taking food home for the evening, and we still had enough food for the next day. Additionally, the catering pricing from La Parilla is extremely economical especially during these times of high inflation. Marley and Chef Parra relieved our anxiety and stress of preparing and cooking the food ourselves. We both agree this was most likely one of the few times we were not stressed out about food for an event. In our opinion Marley and Chef Parra are top tier in the Restaurant Industry. We eat at La Parilla often and have always experienced delicious food, a friendly atmosphere and a professional staff. We love General Manager Marley, Chef Jose Parra and the Fayetteville La Parilla Staff. We recommend if you have any catering needs contact General Manager Marley and she will handle everything!!! Grateful, Kia and Gail Goodwin

Was feeling a little down yesterday (2/21/24) so my honey treated me to one of my fav places,La Parilla! Jamal was my server. He was amazing. Very calm, collected, and in control. He took our orders flawlessly and even made a few prompted suggestions that were on point. There was one small hiccup, The food runner was extremely rude. Im not sure about anyone else but having a woman bring me food who is oozing bad energy makes almost not want to come back but i wont blame the whole restaurant. The thing i never say is that Im a service industry vet....ive been a busser, food runner, server, bartender and manager...i dont judge based on mistakes, i judge how those mistakes are handled because we all make mistakes. Jamal again came to the rescue and is the ONLY reason i will return to this place...but i will make sure to request someone else run my food....the thing is SHE brought the wrong food. And when we finally got our attention she treated us like roaches...the only phrase she even said was WHAT? The way u answer your highschool boyfriend because u hate him. The dish was tacos...she grabbed a pair of beef instead of chicken from the window....now as a food runner its your job to double check the food but the tacos are shrouded in shredded goodness so at a glance they all look alike...mistake...cool but dont treat me and my girl like undesirables because of your mistake...we notified Jamal and he came right back out the kitchen with the right order. I knew she grabbed the wrong food because when he brought the right food the plate was very hot because it sat in the window for a while. All in all, ill be back...but ill be vigilante....love this place tho!

I recently had the privilege of dining at a restaurant that provided an exemplary level of service. The server assigned to our table was nothing short of exceptional, attending to our every need with meticulous attention and genuine care. However, what truly stood out was the presence of an additional staff member—a dedicated sub server specifically responsible for handling hot plates. This thoughtful touch not only ensured that our dishes were served at the perfect temperature, but also contributed to an overall pleasant dining experience.

From the moment we were seated, our server graciously introduced themselves and took the time to explain various aspects of the menu. Their friendly demeanor and expertise instantly put us at ease, allowing us to fully appreciate the culinary journey that awaited us. Throughout the evening, they gauged our preferences and made insightful recommendations, showcasing an admirable understanding of the menu's offerings.

With their impeccable timing, our server skillfully synchronized the arrival of each course, ensuring that we had ample time to savor the flavors of one dish before moving on to the next. They expertly performed their duties without imposing on our conversations, striking a perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing us privacy.

What truly enhanced our experience was the presence of the sub server responsible for handling hot plates. Whenever a dish was prepared with precision and passion in the kitchen, this individual would swiftly retrieve it and deliver it promptly to our table. Not only did this prevent our food from cooling unnecessarily—but it also saved our server valuable time, enabling them to focus on other aspects of their service.

The subserver's role was undoubtedly a vital one, and their attention to detail ensured that every plate was presented with finesse. Their ability to maneuver gracefully through the bustling restaurant, deftly navigating around tables and guests, impressed upon us their unwavering dedication to the craft of service. This additional staff member was a silent hero, working effortlessly behind the scenes to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

As a result of the exceptional service we received, my family and I had an absolute blast during our time at the restaurant. The ambiance, combined with the impeccable service, created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that was conducive to genuine enjoyment. We found ourselves fully immersed in each other's company, engrossed in laughter-filled conversations, and delighted by the delectable dishes that graced our table.

The attention to detail exhibited by the server and the sub server reflected the restaurant's commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience. It was evident that their dedication was not just limited to our table but extended to all guests throughout the establishment. The restaurant staff operated seamlessly as a team, ensuring that every customer felt valued and cared for.

Reflecting on this memorable dining experience, my excitement for a return visit only grows. The outstanding service, from the server who attended to our every need to the sub server who protected the integrity of our dishes, has left an indelible impression. The prospect of reliving such a delightful evening and indulging in the mouthwatering creations of the skilled culinary team fills me with anticipation.

In conclusion, the presence of a server who effortlessly attended to our needs, complemented by the diligent sub server responsible for handling hot plates, elevated our dining experience to unparalleled heights. The harmonious synchronization between the two staff members ensured that our evening was characterized by impeccable service and the utmost attention to detail. With gratitude and anticipation, I eagerly look forward to returning and immersing myself once more in the remarkable ambiance and culinary delights that this exceptional restaurant...

My last couple of visits were very disappointing. The customer service was below standard. I and my family have patronized this location for years and we have all noticed the change in service. I sat at the bar for about 5-10mins before anyone spoke to me. The young lady tidying up the bar just looked at me and says "you wanna a menu" I said "sure, how are you today" she says "good" and never gave me a menu. She begins wiping the bar off and comes around to the side I was sitting on and almost elbowed me in the chest while wiping, that's how close she was, she didn't say ''let me wipe this area for you'' or anything. I looked at her and said ''can I get that menu or...'' and she asks another bar tender to give me a menu. That bar tender was a little friendlier but still not that good. She gave me the wrong drink, something totally different from what I had ordered. What if I had an allergy or something but guess she could've cared less. Ordered my food, it took forever and was burnt tasting like old grease, also I had to wait another 5 minutes while the bartender/server had a convo with someone before I could get her attention to give me a fork etc. I ordered the mango salmon which is usually on point. These new people they have hired are not on point at all. The managers they had before were better too. They would come over and speak to guests and make sure they were taken care of. These new managers look at you up and down as if you are there to cater to them. What is this new thing where waitresses treat you like you're acting like some entitled B as soon as you walk in like "who does she think she is" because you look nice, but I am friendlier than they are? I am simply a customer there to patronize their business and keep the money flowing in their industry. I worked in the service industry for a while and still do and always make sure my clients, guests etc. have a pleasant experience with me. The family fun atmosphere, good customer service and good food are dwindling at this location. Ill be patronizing some other locations for a better experience....
