The store had a large variety of couches available, most of them with a 20% discount tag on them. The couches seemed to have a great quality, and the establishment was clean and well organized. They also had inventory availability, meaning that if you arrive with a pick up truck or any vehicle large enough you will be able to take it right away, as opposed to having to order them. Plenty of great things, however, their customer service seems to be on the weaker side. We entered the establishment and the owner didn't greet us as you would expect with a establishment with 4 decades on the market. No "Hello, how are you doing" or "Welcome", but instead we felt a passive aggressive attitude from the beginning when asked if we needed help with anything. The owner explained all the aforementioned things I said above, which are great! We brought our two children, one of them being special needs. We began looking for a couch for our new home, and in a moments our special needs child climbed on top of a couch and began jumping. In a moments notice the owner approached us and said "This isn't going to work. Thank you for coming but I can't have you here" or something along those lines. I said "I am sorry. We understand." as we gathered our kids and departed. As we are walking to the door the owner begins to say "This is the reason why we have a sign outside". We never saw the sign when we came in, but we are sure that there must have been one somewhere on the front. My wife has bought furniture in this store in 2016 and in 2019. She never had any issues before in this store, but we understand if this is an ongoing issue the owner deals with constantly. Read moreI have been a loyal customer to Lee Furniture for many years. Bought 2 bedroom sets & 2 living room sets. Everything is fine there until there is a problem. I have had problems with my recent purchase, a king size bedroom set that had slats that were installed incorrectly & all of them broke within a few days. Spoke to the owner "Chris" & he assured me that the problem would be fixed & I had a year warranty. He sent a guy out several days later & 2 slats were too short, in addition he said my slats were not leveled correctly when they were installed. After several no shows & no communication besides some disturbing texts that basically said he has not had problems with the slats before. Never received an apology just made me feel as if I was a bother. Here it is 5 months later (still within my 1 year warranty) & I still don't have the proper amount of slats for my bed! I spoke to Chris (owner) & he has given me the run around yet again! He said my problem will get fixed & he will call me to set up a time. He never calls when he says he will. After another 2 weeks of not calling me back, he says the person he was going to send is sick but I could pay $99 for someone else to fix the problem! Wow! I just wanted what I paid for, a bed with the proper slats! Buyer beware!
Update: Upon reading the reply from owner Chris, I just wanted to say he is a liar. Yes, I had his number but he doesn't return calls & he is rude. Why would I want a refund if I was told the problem would be fixed? Read moreI love lee’s furniture! I got my first table dinning room table from them. I put insurance on my table, which covers my table for 5 years! A piece of my table chair came off due to an incident and luckily it was covered. Mrs. Lisa called me today at 5:01 pm as soon as my chair came in. I missed the call and i called back at 5:22 pm. Mind you they close today at 6. I was going to pick it up another day since they offered to put the chair together for me but it was almost closing time and the chair was not put together yet. So i decided to pick it up today because a friend was going to put the chair together for me. When i go pick it up they were so nice and put the chair together for me and bought it to my car even though it was close to closing time. Also while i was walking in with the chair there was an older man that works there who saw me struggling walking the chair to the front desk and told me to settle the chair down that they would get it for me! I was so grateful for that! Mrs. Lisa is awesome and so sweet! She helped me out with the whole process to get a new table chair and everything! They were so friendly and polite! Thank you Lee...
