If I could give 0 stars and this review I absolutely would! I will never be recommending anyone to men's warehouse, my family will never recommend anyone to men's warehouse, our vendors will NEVER be recommending anyone to men's warehouse! I have NEVER had such a POOR experience. Me and my groom came in approx 5 months ago to set up our wedding rental. We had his rental, 4 groomsmen, and 2 ushers. The fittings went without incident, we were told suits would be ready for pickup TWO days before the wedding, and there is a perfect fit guarantee. Our wedding was June 5th, 4 of our wedding party went up there on June 3rd and were treated in an absolutely distasteful manner. They were told the suits were NOT in, that they didn't know when it would be in (because it's FedEx fault and not to come back without an email very rudely by the GENERAL MANAGER Meredith Reno. After being told by 3 out of 4 about attitude issues I called up there! She wanted to blame covid, shipping, workers etc etc. Luckily some of the suits came in at lunch time, but 1 jacket was entirely too large, the shirt way too small and ALL of the suspenders were the wrong color. There were 2 suits unaccounted for and they stated they had no idea when they would be in. 1 was out for shipping and the 2nd one was still showing being assembled. 1. FedEx can be tracked! 2. If you KNOW you have been dealing with delays COMMUNICATE THAT IN ADVANCE! 3. If you know there are delays get the freaking suits in PRIOR TO TWO DAYS!!! 4. You work in a customer service industry dealing with people who are preparing for.one of the MOST IMPORTANT and STRESSFUL days of their lives and you want to be a witch and argumentative is unacceptable. All it takes is by saying "we will make this right or what can I do to make this right" but instead we got I'm doing all I can, I don't know what else to tell you, you are being unreasonable. Meredith's first solution was "I can throw you a suit together here but it won't match" followed by "the exact suit is avaliable in Cary, you can go pay the rental fee (drive an extra hour to get it the day before the wedding but the groomsmen can keep the suit) which did not even fix the issue. He would never wear that suit again, we had a entirely full schedule the day before and day of the wedding that that drive was not even possible. I then reached out to Brian Wilson the regional manager. The call went to voice-mail so I requested to be contacted back regarding our experience. Instead of contacting me, the bride, as requested he reached out to the groomsmen several times, who had to then forward information to me. I give Brian credit because he did say he would make it right and he drove up to VA to pick the suit up. However, he loses my respect from this point forward because he was told ALL of our suspenders were the wrong color Thursday night via the groomsmen and we needed the right ones. He told my.groomsmens it doesn't matter what color the suspenders are they are under the suit, we had several family members that heard him say it. I called Brian again on Friday because he STILL had not contacted me directly. He answered told me he had the one suit in hand so I asked about the suspenders and he LIED and said he knew nothing about suspenders being wrong. I said are you sure because I heard otherwise and at that point he said let me make a phone call and get them to you. Two hours later I received a phone call from a John asking for our Bed and Breakfast address so he could ship them to us (morning of the wedding). They did come in the MORNING of the wedding by noon. What pisses me off the most however is they gave our biggest groomsmen who is 6'3ish 400ish lbs an absolutely wrong size suit which was the one that arrived via FedEx the day before the wedding! He was SO uncomfortable, he could not tuck the white shirt in, the vest and jacket were TOO small. We had to HIDE him in the back of photos and my photographer will have to photoshop every single photo he is in because MENS WAREHOUSE DROPPED THE BALL AND WE ALL PAID.FULL...
Read moreIf I could give this specific location zero stars I would have, accept for the service that was offered to me by a few individuals.
Negatives #1: A female employee that answered the phone when I called to ask if my suits were ready for pick up, lied to me and told me my suits were ready for pick up. When I showed up, the same lady went in the back and told me my suits were not ready and to come back later that day after 6pm. This individual woman was incredibly rude and disrespectful to me. I do not know if she was being rude because I am white and she was black, because I am male and she is female, or if she didn't like I was wearing shorts and t-shirt with a hat with a cross and a star on it.
Negatives #2: When I told management about this specific individual management tried to come up with excuses, say it was miscommunication, or that the store must have been busy. I was the only customer in the store.
Negatives #3: When I came back after 6pm as requested to pick up the suits that was said to be ready, the suits were only partially ready. (Big Positive: the gentleman that helped me were super respectful, apologetic, and tried to help, these gentlemen should be promoted to management right away). The suits not being ready were not the men's fault that were there, and again they worked hard to resolve the issue, and discovered that there had also been a computer error from when the original person put the order in. (I will note, these gentlemen were again super respectful even though not all of our physical characteristics were identical, and I had worn the same t-shirt, shorts, and hat when interacting with them, again I would promote these men to management right away).
Negative #4: I came back several days later when the remaining items were supposed to be completed. I tried to politely ask a representative if she would please get my suit pants that were supposed to be ready. The rep named Ashley looked me up and down at the clothing I was wearing, my skin tone, and my same hat with cross and a star on, and was immediately rude and disrespectful towards me and started telling me off about how she was to busy to help someone like me, and I would have to wait until all the other customers in the store were fitted and cashed out. I was the only white male individual in the store, and everyone else in the store was African American. I politely tried to tell her I understood but I was not there for a rental, to be fitted, or anything like that, I simply was there to pick up my pants that should already be done and in the back and had my ticket. She told me she did not have time to help me or go in the back. She then proceded to go into the back 4 or 5 times after that and never tried to help me.
Negatives #5: When I tried to report her to the manager, a shorty lady with red hair, again the manager simply came up with excuses, and did not even have the employee give me a sincere apology for being rude and racist to me. The rep Ashley even came and was rude to me as I was talking to the manager, and the manager did nothing about it. I believe that the rep Ashley, as well as the other rep that lied on the phone should both be fired immediately.
FIRE ASHLEY IMMEDIATELY.
Positive 1: The manager gave me a full refund on the alterations.
Positive 2: Again the men that helped me were all super nice and respectful regardless of race, age, or clothing.
Positive 3: The first employee that I initially bought the suits with, whose name was John was super friendly and full of people skills, he was only limited by a horrible computer system that caused the initial issues to begin with.
Positive 4: The balding gentle man with the tape measure as well as the older gentleman who also teaches history, were amazing super respectful, and sincerely apologized for issues that occured.
RECOMMENDATIONS to the Owner: I would recommend to the owner to fire Ashely as well as the other lady that lies to customers over the phone. Promote the two gentlemen immediately. Give John...
Read moreThis Men's Wearhouse royally screwed my whole wedding party for my wedding. Everyone (except one groomsman) was measured and ordered from this location and set to pick up in Traverse City, MI. My groom was to wear a navy suit, gray vest and bow tie, and black shoes. When we picked the suit up in MI he noticed the shoes were brown. He called the MI location and expressed the concern and their only response was that the Fayetteville location put brown shoes on the ticket and if he wanted to change them to black that he would have to order them and pay a restocking fee. He specifically told the girls at the Fayetteville location that he wanted BLACK shoes. My ring bearer also received incorrect shoes. They were told that a wide shoe was an option and would be ordered for him. It was not. He received a standard shoe and had to squeeze his feet into them for the night. Moving on to the wedding day, my groom was getting dressed and realized he was not given a tie at all. once again he called the MI location and told them about the issue and they informed him that the Fayetteville staff did not even put a tie on the ticket. The man had no tie on his wedding day. The MI staff did not have a gray one in stock but they tried their hardest to accommodate and gave him three ties to choose from. It was his wedding day and he had a vision of how he wanted to look, and this Men's Wearhouse completely ruined it. For the amount of money that we paid for these suits there should not have been this many issues. Not to mention one of the vests was missing a button. This is honestly 110% unacceptable. My groom and I are both completely unhappy and will never rent from Men's Wearhouse again. It's basically just a scam. The staff seem nice and friendly but obviously don't know how to properly do their jobs. It sucks to pay hundreds of dollars and be unsatisfied with the way you look on one of the most important days...
