I give it 5 stars because I absolutely love Chick-fil-A and this particular one is usually amazing, this time they were so beyond crowded it wasn't funny... there are 2 drive through lanes until you order and then you merge into one... I got into the line that had one less car... it wasn't long before there were alot of people behind us.. all of a sudden at least 10 cars in the other line go through and we haven't moved.. so at least 4 cars that were there after me and way after the 5 cars ahead of me we already ordered and on their way to paying... as I finally get to where u order I realize there are employees outside taking out orders which has happened before no big deal.. then once ordered and merged into single lane there are 2 employees collecting our payments and going to pay while we are waiting in this long line... I get why and it was no problem however.. the one girl who didn't collect my payment was running and being pretty efficient as the line at this point moves ahead 3 cars at a time, the one who collected mine is walking at snail pace so the cars behind me got their cards back before I did... no big deal really so anyway I get to the window where you get ur food and there is yet another employee outside and standing at the window so I couldn't get close to the window and I thought well she must be handing out our food, well she was but for the cars that were waiting past the window... the girl inside handed me mine and we couldn't reach each other because like I said the employee was standing outside at the window so I couldn't get close... finally I get my food and me and the 4 cars ahead of me are ushered ahead to leave.. unfortunately for me I had to leave out the back entrance hence I had to wait through some of the drive through line again to get to where I could get around them people were backing out of spaces not caring that I have the right of way and we almost hit then a customer walking to her car through the drive through cars comes out from between them as I have to swerve around a car backing out of its space and she yells at me, really ghetto girl...you should watch where you are walking as when you are ducking and weaving between the drive through cars, we can't see you! Finally I got out of there and was literally anxious and stressed.. the moral of this story is, I will go back, but it will only be on off hours because it's a mad house and a zoo to say the least... not Chick-fil-As fault on most of what I described, but if you are on a time budget, and cant handle stress, don't go when it's busy... I am a calm patient person so for me to be anxious and stressed when leaving says alot!... Chick-fil-A is awesome, some of their customers however need a lesson in how to be civil! As for the lines... they need to make sure they get people through by alternating one line to the next after...
Read moreMy daughter placed a mobile order in Fayetteville at the 2727 Raeford Rd. location because, temporarily, we do not have an open Chick-fil-A in Lumberton. They are building a new location and remodeling our existing location (poor planning). Back to Raeford Rd. location; my daughter placed the order for Drive Thur pickup, BUT when I got there, I decided to go inside. I went to the counter and informed the manager of my coming inside instead of going to Drive Thru. I gave him my daughter's name and told him I would be seated at table #12. After waiting over 20 minutes, I went back to the counter and inquired about our order. He said he had no order for that name and asked if I was sure I was at the correct place since there were 2 locations on Raeford Rd. I reached out to my daughter after being made to feel like I was incapable of following simple instructions. (Previously, we had discussed which location we would be using because we had actually used this location the day before). I was screen shot a copy of the order receipt to confirm order and verify the location. I was at the correct place. The manager, prior to my going back to the counter, had been stationary at one location at the end of the counter for the entire time of my waiting. After showing him the online receipt, he said something to one of the young ladies about getting my order, and then he disappeared, I never saw him again. No apology, no acknowledging the mistake, just left the error. I had my order in less than 2 minutes. I forgot to get names, BUT hats off to...
Read moreHas there been a management change or something? The last 2 times I have been here the experience has been subpar. Today (12/4/19) when I got to the window after waiting in line for what felt like forever I was handed my bag of food but no drink. I sat patiently only to be given a look like "ok you can leave..." to which I replied "I'm missing my water" and then the "oh yeah" and was finally given it. Then I get back to the office only to find that my mac was overcooked and the noodles were soggy.
The time before they actually had the nerve to try and hand me food that they inadvertantly handed to the people in the car ahead of me who literally had it in their car for 5 minutes before retrieving it from them and walking back to my car. When I told the car hop I was NOT taking food that has been in someone else's car he looked confused and walked back to the window. He had an exchange with the person at the window and I can't completely confirm but I swear they either tried to hand me the exact same bag after bringing it into the window or rebagged it. Gross! At that point I cancelled my order and went to the Skibo location instead. I was completely and utterly appalled and I'm fairly sure that's a health code violation! I have ZERO idea what the people in front of me could have done to that food! Disgusting to say the least!
Prior to that experience I'd never had a problem at this location but 2 times in a row has me wondering what's changed... and not...
